Love the greenway. It's a must see part of Charlotte since it reflects the beauty and nature of the city amidst it's urban core. I love to cycle the greenway and you will find many runners, cyclist and walkers on any given day.

Nice path to run or ride a bike. Connects from edge of Uptown to Freedom Park. Very well maintained. Keep an eye out for wildlife: fish, ducks, geese, heron, and an occasional beaver.

Whether walking or riding your bike, this beautiful trail in the heart of the city is place to get away from it all. Take your lunch or just a break from shopping and enjoy nature. Great addition and really makes Charlotte a good place for those who love the outdoors.

My teenage daughter and I took bikes through this Greenway. It was wonderful. It was a pleasant day and lots of people were out. We loved all the little bridges, the water, the scenery, and seeing other parts of Charlotte as well.

The Little Sugar Creek Greenway is an early success in Charlotte's grand plan to develop greenways with walking and bike trails along all of its major floodplains. It's a great place for a walk or leisurely bike ride. You'll see great blue herons and other wondrous critters along the creek, and come to understand Charlotte and its layout from a... More

My husband and I ride our bikes along this greenway a few times a week and we love it! It is a decent length and provides great views of the city at many points along the way. Also great for walks! We stop for ice cream sometimes along the way!

We spent about 2 hours waling up and down the greenway, stopped for a drink and just soaked in the City... there are many photo opportunities along the route and great views of downtown. We parked near one of our favorite Italian restaurants on Kings Street.

This is a nice amenity, but is sterile and hot in the summer due to the lack of shade trees. Also, Little Sugar Creek appears to have been channelized.

The main part of the greenway goes from 3rd/4th Streets downtown to Freedom Park. There are plenty of places to park and jump on the trail. And the trail does have extensions that can add some length onto your walk/run. Depending upon where you start, a nice 3 mile or so round trip in the city, along the creek, and... More
