My niece (3 yrs old, almost 4) and parents came to visit this past weekend. I took them to Imaginon. My niece loved it. There were lots of kids around her age and plenty of learning activities for them to do. I liked the fact that parents were supervising their kids- although it might have been nice for them to... We love this library, we were especially glad when Clifford came to town! It's a great place to go when it is just too hot, cold, or raining! Definitely recommend!

Imaginon offers so much for kids of all ages. The traveling exhibits, the childrens area, the terrific tuesday free shows in the summer....we've done story times, special music classes with visitors and have been to play on the computers and with the many manipulatives they put out for kids. It's a great (FREE) resource for anyone in the Charlotte area.... More

In the center, there are libraries ranging from toddler age to teens and a theater. The whole place is full of color and imagination.

I WISH we had something like this where I live. My child would be entertained for hours at the ImaginOn. Not just a library!! There are exhibits, computers, i-pads, games, things to climb on... I could go on and on. We are so glad we took our 3 year old here.. he loved the Clifford exhibit, the trolley and the... More

Great library. I was surprised at how much there was for little ones. I understand Discovery Place has a lot, but this is free and kids 5 and younger would be just as happy here plus if you are a resident you can check out books/DVDs and return to any Charlotte Meck libraryy. My kids played for hours. Parking Garage... More

Super good to watch how things work. It gives one an advance advantage as to what to expect for anyone _ be them as adults or children.
