A very good trip for small children, teens, and families. A place to let your imagination run free. A good place for birthday parties, teen gathering and meetings. Theater, skits and interactive displays are everywher. The center is handicapped accessible and presedesterian friendly. Fun for the family with good parking near and good presedesterian access.

This is not only a wonderful open air, creative, and fun library space - It's also the home of the Children's Theatre of Charlotte and their School of Theatre Training for elementary to high school students. My family has enjoyed many wonderful productions through the years since we moved to Charlotte - starting when my kids were in preschool. And... More

My kids (6 years old) could have spent the day here! We ended up spending about 1.5 hours exploring the books, board games, activity centres (puppet centre, magnetic poetry wall, ball track on the wall, map carpets with cars, Lego), Ipad games/apps…and this was just the 1st floor. My little ones didn’t go upstairs, targeted toward teens where they had... More

another parent and I were a little behind because we had to park. When we got there we gave our school name and the professional friendly staff, connected us with ease. I personally enjoyed the holiday act as they comically told three different stories for this season's holidays, Hanukkah, Christmas, and Kwanzaa. The show was captivating enough to hold the... More

I am not sure why, but trip advisor does not have a separate listing for the Children's Theatre of Charlotte so since they are located in the ImaginOn Children's Library, I am listing it here. Would you like your children to be exposed to the best in Theater suited for their age and their development? Then you need to get... More

This is a great place for kids. The library is great, the colors, exhibits and 'stuff' to do makes for a fun morning or afternoon. We like to take the light rail. Taking the light rail makes for an easy trip uptown, more adventures to be had and kids like it. Imagine On is just a really enjoyable place.

I have been taking my children here since they were born they are now 6 & 9 and love this library! They set up new attraction type situations all the time. There are nice touch screen computers for the little kids, very nice place where they can use their imaginations all the time! I love it!!

We were only here for a morning storytime, but both our 4-year-old and our 1-year-old enjoyed it very much. Excellent storyteller, interesting toys in a lovely building. And, it's close to the Marketplace for lunch.
