Very nice wooded county park, well taken care of and maintained, tucked away about 14 min from I-77. They have tents set up already for those looking for the tenting experience. They also have primative camping, a few pull through sights with full service as well ad with just water and electricity. Be prepaired with leveling blocks. Beautiful nature trails... More

I used to go for walks/hikes/runs there almost every day when I lived near that reserve. It has a good variety of trails and each trail is easy to see on the map they provide at different entrances. It is right on the edge of Lake Wylie and has a good challenge of elevation on the trails.

This nature preserve is an awesome place for kids and adults. There are free activities for kids to do while at the park. There is a little museum inside the building. They have a calendar with tons of activities through out the month. This place is clean, and safe for kids. There is also a very nice little park for... More

We always enjoy coming here and just sitting around the lake. If you're looking to do a picnic lunch, this is a great place to go! Can't wait to walk the trails next time!

Walked about five miles of trails in this park our second day in town. Great place to walk and enjoy some nature, close and the trails are well marked and laid out. Worth the visit and a few hours.
