It's a nice relaxing place to take some photos. I suggest not going around lunchtime on weekdays as it's also a corporate building.

I work across the street and it is fun to see everyone taking selfies with it. If it gets below freezing they turn the fountain off. On a windy day you can get splashed a little.

I was surprised that an outdoor sculpture in a business park would be one of the top attractions for Charlotte, but now having seen it I understand. It's a really awesome photo opportunity! To be clear, it's a statue of a head. That's it. There's nothing to do besides take pictures, or possibly read a book and enjoy the relaxing... More

I enjoyed stopping in to see this statue - wish it still rotated so you could get the full experience of it but was still interesting to see. Quiet area on weekends with plenty of parking in nearby business lots that aren't open on weekend...infinity pool is neat too. Good to go so you can say "I've see it"!

We loved seeing Metamorphosis!! What a unique statue/sculpture. Truly fascinating to see the creativity it took to come up with the idea for a giant metal head. Even though it doesn't rotate, it's still a sight to behold, great photo ops with the nice fountain "he" sits on.

If you've seen the on-line videos from when this art installation was moving then you might be quite disappointed to see it doesn't move any more. I chatted to the person cleaning the pool the art is set into and he told me it was recently taken apart and re-assembled but still isn't working. He's not sure why. But it's... More

Unimpressed. Overall I found it to be just another meaningless form of "modern art" which elicits no emotion. I am sure that it may have been impressive if the 7 Internet controlled segments still rotated, but Metalmorphosis has been broken for a few years now. Personally, I think the Czech raised artist spent too much time drinking the commie kool-aid... More

It was fun & art symbolic. Took great pictures and water was beautiful. Wish I could see it move, is it supposed to move?

Coming across this attraction from other reviews on TripAdvisor, I wanted to check it out myself. I have to say, it is big, unique, and very fun to photograph as the sun's reflection would affect the metal. Since it is in the middle of a a business setting it fits into the decor quite well. One can reflect and enjoy... More
