Fun

I work across the street and it is fun to see everyone taking selfies with it. If it gets below freezing they turn the fountain off. On a windy day you can get splashed a little.

The Metalmorphosis Head is being reassembled this week after some maintenance. I hope that they have fixed it so it will split apart in sections like if first did. So if you came by while it was gone - it should be completely finished with in a week or so - at least by the first part of April 2015..

It is in fact gone, so don't waste your time. I was highly disappointed. I pulled into the lot and the only thing left is the pole used to support the structure.

I just heard about this and was so excited to see it but arrived and statue was missing. So sad :-( I hope someone will notify me if it ever is replaced.

It's a nice relaxing place to take some photos. I suggest not going around lunchtime on weekdays as it's also a corporate building.

I was surprised that an outdoor sculpture in a business park would be one of the top attractions for Charlotte, but now having seen it I understand. It's a really awesome photo opportunity! To be clear, it's a statue of a head. That's it. There's nothing to do besides take pictures, or possibly read a book and enjoy the relaxing... More

I enjoyed stopping in to see this statue - wish it still rotated so you could get the full experience of it but was still interesting to see. Quiet area on weekends with plenty of parking in nearby business lots that aren't open on weekend...infinity pool is neat too. Good to go so you can say "I've see it"!

We loved seeing Metamorphosis!! What a unique statue/sculpture. Truly fascinating to see the creativity it took to come up with the idea for a giant metal head. Even though it doesn't rotate, it's still a sight to behold, great photo ops with the nice fountain "he" sits on.

If you've seen the on-line videos from when this art installation was moving then you might be quite disappointed to see it doesn't move any more. I chatted to the person cleaning the pool the art is set into and he told me it was recently taken apart and re-assembled but still isn't working. He's not sure why. But it's... More
