I love their beer. Seriously, it was love at first sip. The tours are phenomenal too. I've had a great guide both times I've toured the facility. The ONLY downside is the price of a pint. You're nearly paying bar prices, and while I like supporting local brews, I was bummed you don't get a free taste on the tour... More

My wife and I were in Charlotte for the weekend are I stumbled upon this place on the internet. So we headed out, not really knowing what to expect. The place is a bit far from downtown but the beer is fabulous. It has a German feel and all the beers are distinctly German. It was pretty slow when we... More

Fun tour and very informative – interesting to understand the history behind this start-up. Atmosphere is very casual and mirrored similar to the German beer halls- big open tables with lots... More

I really have not eaten here, but when I see one of their brews on a restaurant menu that's what I'll have. Olde Mecklenburg Copper is my favorite brew. More

OMB Beer has a genuine German flavor and the atmosphere is much like we experienced in Frankfurt (not Kentucky). Decent food is ordered at the counter and is served inside or out at picnic tables shared with other patrons. Fire pit outside for chillier evenings. No awesome views (it's in a warehouse district) but a great place to enjoy fresh... More

They could use more comfortable seating. But I love the pretzels with my beer and love drinking the Dunkel Winter Ale. More
