This place is huge! It wasn't very busy while we were there but I can imagine when it is packed it is a live and loud place. The outside seating area is huge and beautifully done. Had 4 or 5 beers on tap that they brew in-house and about that many wines on the drink menu...the Copper beer I had... More

Nice attempt to bring a Bavarian Bierhaus to NC. Traditional seating indoors and out. Traditional Bavarian style bier, there were 6 on tap. Menu sufficient enough to meet most tastes. Remember, this is a brewery and not a Bavarian restaurant. The menu is more extensive and diverse than a traditional bierhaus, but you won't find schnitzels, sauerbraten etc. We really... More

We visited on a Saturday afternoon. The place was packed. We immediately got a beer and got on the tour of the brewery. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, the tour guide was pretty fun and gave us tastes of the beer during the brewing process. The beers we had were very good, I don't think there were any we didn't... It might have been timing as they were moving into their new facility, which I heard is great. But they only had 3 beers on tap and while they were good, they were very straight forward. We left and went to some other more exciting breweries in Charlotte.

Visited the new brewery location on their first week of operation. The beer was as good as ever. This is one of my favorite microbreweries in the country - and I've visited many. In the new location they are now offering food....and that's where things went wrong. The food was overpriced, not very good and served in unbelievably small portions.... More

The beer was great. I would have tried the food, but I was saving room for more beer. I did try a pretzel and it was great. I'm looking forward to seeing the new facility.

We visited this Resturant while staying in Charlotte due to ratings on Trip Advisor. It was GREAT! The service was fast and friendly. The dinner was delicious German sausages and kraut with a side of potato salad. Great selection of German beers brewed on site. Try the Flight for a sample of 4 beers for $4. Highly recommend this cool... More

Right when you walk in you will be impressed, the building itself is beautiful and historic looking. A lot of German décor, food & beer fill the brewhouse, with a cool biergarten outside. The beer itself is probably some of the best authentic German brew I've had. Well done, will go back again!

A great taste of Mecklenburg Germany right here in Mecklenburg County, NC. The Dusseldorf style Copper may be the tastiest and best balanced microbrew I have tasted. I love this style and enjoy this beer on a regular basis. It is now available at many bars around town. I like stopping by the brewery from time to time. It is... More

This is a small micro brewery with a number of tables where you can sit down and enjoy the on site brewed beer with a few items to eat. The attraction is the taste of the beer - especially the Copper that is so close to the beer that I and many others enjoyed in Dusseldorf (Germany) in the Olde... More
