I come here every year for a comic convention and have enjoyed it.. Good size structure with plenty of space. A lot of areas to sit and get out of the way. Staff-okay.Food-pricey. I suggest going to a restaurant outside the center for better selection and price. Always clean with plenty of security. can hold multiple conventions at one time.

Loved the feel and layout minus the light rail that passes through. The food and seating for lunch was great. Clean, pleasant and great place for a conference.

This is not a huge convention center, but our conference of 7000 fit in it nicely. There were several decent food options and the lines for food and coffee were short, very short compared to most other conference centers I have been to. The LRT severs the upper floor into two seperate areas, so you can not just wander from... More

I stay at the Charlotte Center City Hilton (next to the Charlotte Convention Center) every year for a weekend in September for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Charlotte Eucharistic Congress. Panera is close, for breakfast & the hotel has an affordable & delicious $15 breakfast buffet. The event is free, with a suggested donation of $30. Special speakers, sacred music,... More

The Charlotte Convention Center is a state of the art facility that can house just about any event that can cross your mind. I have been to plenty of auto shows, photography conventions, comic book conventions, among other annual meetings. The Convention Center has plenty of space for any event, and is always clean and brightly lit. The only drawbacks... More

I had the opportunity to be here while attending the Applied Superconductivity Conference. This conference gathered about thousand people from around the world. The convention center was able to manage all these people and even much more than that. The rooms are clean large and comfortable, the open spaces very large, the air conditioning working good and the wifi network... More

Enormous in size but well lit and air conditioned. Clean and well arranged but more bathrooms are needed near the meeting rooms (much walking required to get into facilities). Able to ride the train from Pineville to the door of the Center.

We visit the convention center at least twice a year. Restrooms are always clean. There are several small places inside to eat. Indoor parking at about 10.00 unless there is a special event, then the price in the area my go up to 20.00. Walking distance to restaurants, museums, and parks,

This convention center was very nice, clean, well laid out. I enjoyed attending my groups convention here. The accessibility was above expected levels and the service by the staff was wonderful. There are many choices for food , coffee and snacks without ever having to leave the center. Although there are also many, many wonderful restaurants, museums and other wonderful... More

It was fun comfortable and nice architecture. Very good for handicap accessibility for the ladies at the convention.
