I attended the Volleyball Tournament to see my niece and her team play. Many different teams with young ladies from all the surrounding areas participated. I shopped and found some great buys.

As always great location very organized. This is our 3rd year in a row. My only concern..open more of the food windows during this event. Waiting in line for 25 minutes was not fun!

Being right downtown, the location was great for our event. Unique layout, with the different arenas, ballrooms, the rail system inside, and access to NASCAR without having to go outside was great. There are several places to eat including Starbucks, Bojangles, and Einstein Bagels which were all good. They might consider adding a few more choices for food purchase. We... More

Attended exotic car shows. Very large, 2 story venue. Many topics to discover. Wear waking shoes, especially if they are showing something you are very interested in.

Located in the center of Charlotte, the location couldn't be anymore convenient. There are numerous hotels within walking distance. The layout is quite unique. It goes over the both the local rail system and a road, making it necessary to go up and down a lot of stairs/escalators to get to the different sections. If you're planning a conference here,... Rooms and Halls of varying sizes to conduct parallel sessions and meeting rooms. Excellent location for a conference of size 750 persons. More Restaurants inside the convention centre would help.

Nicest convention center I've seen. Loved the architecture, art & intentional celebration of Charlotte. Modern & a bit stark. Can make your group feel small, it's so large.

The staff was polite and helpful. The venue was adequate and the A/C was great for such a large facility. The only problem I had was there was no Internet service available for free for attendees. Very unproductive!

Attending a conference here. There are no water fountains in the building. There are only Ethernet hookups for Internet. Those hookups are provided for presenters only. AV equipment must be rented, it's not provided. The center is clean, and the Italian restaurant, Buon Vito, has excellent pizza.

The center is located downtown and very close to several hotels. A few hotels are well within walking distance and the rest offer shuttle service if a convention is going on that week. You also have several restaurants within the area so you really do not need a car. The convention center has three different levels with different size rooms... More
