Enjoyed the crafts and historic costume exhibits. Fabulous museum store...fell in love with some stained glass pieces. Parking in the adjoining deck is great for a rainy day...no need for coats or umbrellas to reach the entrance. Must return to Charlotte to see the main Mint location as well. More

Their are TWO Mint Museums in Charlotte, the Uptown which is modern, glossy and specializes in contemporary art, craft & design, American art, and special exhibits. What a remarkable collection of art and other things to admire. One could spend a day there and not see it all. Try it sometime. More

One hour can be enough to visit this small but interesting museum. The break will be better with a lunch at the Alcyon restaurant. Good choice for visitors and good break for shoppers. More
