My 10 yr old is enjoying the wide variety of exhibits from space to the aquarium. He really liked working the robotic arms! It's a good activity for kids 10-12 and under though I liked the robot from the television show LOST IN SPACE. A little pricy if bringing multiple family members. For 3 of us it was $36 with... More

I live near Charlotte and we often take the kids here to experience a show or exhibit. It is always excellent and we have never been disappointed. Sometimes the special appearances by local science and tech hobby groups add a unique surprise. The rain forest presentation is really great and the i-max theater is wonderful for shows. I very highly... More

We liked the hands on at the end of the day; about 45 minutes before the museum closed, we were able to try the exhibits.

I have been here several times and kids of all ages love it. The traveling exhibits are great too. I like the fact that the exhibits are separated by age group so that you don't have a rough middle schooler stepping on your toddler. The cafe has theeeeee best cupcakes!

There was nothing not to like. There was something for everyone. From aliens to bugs to wildlife to building homes to making shoes to exciting IMAX movies. This is definitely a stop for anyone with kids 2-13. My kids did not want to leave. You can easily spend an entire day here. I'm so glad that we visited while we... More

We did this with a 3-year-old grandchild and we ALL loved it. There is something for all ages and sizes. There are things that are hands on and even better, things for when he was a bit tired and had to sit-- and that included the grandparents. The staff was great in explaining things and pointing us in the right... More

We had a wonderful time exploring the exhibits. It was such a fun, learning place we bought annual passes before leaving.

I love how organized this place is and the things that my kid could do at this place. Certainly a much better experience than Children's Museum of Atlanta. We enjoyed the 2nd floor much better, where there are more scientific stuff. 1st floor is more about animals and insects.

We used to have a membership to Discovery Place but haven't been there in a while. They have remodeled quite a bit and have added many new exhibits and activities. We enjoyed most the hands-on activities and the IMAX movie (Journey to the South Pacific).

Took my daughter to experience while visiting Charlotte. While it was very interesting with friendly staff, I found the cost of entry and parking a bit excessive. While entry is for the full day, most of the experience can be done in a few hours.
