My adult daughter and I attended the Mummy exhibit, and in the past when visiting traveling exhibits, I did not take the time to take in the rest of the permanent parts. It made me wish I had a child to take there, so I could experience the hands on activities. We also were pleasantly surprised with the fantastic rainforest... More

This Discovery Place is as good as any anywhere, easy to navigate and something to engage all ages, from toddlers to the oldest people. I've been many times. New exhibits are added all the time, but the permanent exhibits are worth visiting over and over. More

Discovery Place gets great exhibits like Bodies and Mummies in their halls. I think it's a great cultural addition to Charlotte. My niece and nephew love running around playing with everything in the main area. They also have an IMAX theater, which is really cool and shows videos and even blockbuster movies like Transformers 2. More

The entire second floor is filled with attractions for them to experience. The only thing I noticed was that the attractions were in need of maintenance. For example, a display... More

I think it was overall a great place. It was a rainy day and we had the day off. He was running from display to display watching and analyzing everything. He also liked the different fish tanks. I thought the "jungle" display could be bigger. The line at front was very long and it took us more than 25 minutes... More

My 6 year old grandson's favorite museum. We have to hustle him out at closing time. Great hand's on exhibits. Try to avoid school vacation days when the place is mobbed. More
