Take our grandchildren there on their annual visit. We have ages 2-11 and there is something for every age. We have to drag them out.

So much to do here and fun for everyone! We went to the DP in Huntersville first so we weren't excited to do the same thing twice in one week. We were pleasantly surprised by all the different type of exploration activities. My 6 and 3 year olds had a blast! Free 3D movies the kids loved. Must see if... More

I've always loved going to Discovery Place as a child and continue to do so as an adult. Their IMAX theater is amazing and vast in size. Their exhibits are always changing to keep things interesting. The last big one that I went to is Body World and it was fantastic.

I have been to the discovery place 10+ times. This was a field trip just about every year I was in school. The exhibits are interesting a vibrant. I saw Body Works and the Pompeii Exhibits and cant wait for with to return if they do! There are activities for every age group even adults! If you're looking for something... More

This museum is great for kids above age five. Toddlers can look around but there isn't as much to see or do unless the special exhibit at the time of your visit caters to young ones. I've been on fired trips with middle schoolers and they loved it as well. They often have great traveling exhibits that are super educational... More

I have a family of seven and kids range in age from 17 to 4. Everyone loves to go to Discovery Place. We've been twice in 6 months. Wonderful hands on exhibits. Lots of hands on learning. Even Grandma likes to come! A must do if visiting Charlotte.

Employees behind counter appeared to not give a .... about anything. One could hardly even answer a question about the IMAX offerings. Kids did seem to enjoy exhibits

Discovery Place is a great place for kids and adults. I'm a science teacher so I was interested in seeing what this place had to offer. I took my daughter, a teen, and we both had fun trying the experiments. You can play with interactive displays that show you how sound, light, wind, electricity work. If you're into art, you...
