We found this place on Yahoo Travel. It's located in a neighborhood so it's easy to miss. We were greeted by an elderly lady who gave us a brochure and some history. Wing Haven is a nice place in Charlotte to spend a few hours walking the gardens and spotting birds. There is a little building to go into and watch a short movie on the history of the family and the gardens.
