The most fun, interesting, and awesomely delicious three hour tour. So enjoyed this adventure! We had a beautiful spring Saturday afternoon & a wonderful, fun tour guide, Cat. The restaurants were all great and varied, with ample, delicious sampling. Each stop was welcoming & informative. Absolutely recommend this tour!

My husband and I took the Taste Carolina Chapel Hill/Carrboro Dinner and Drinks Tour. We were lucky to have Lesley as our tour guide, and a wonderful group of people to do the tour with. We visited 6 places - including Acme restaurant, Vimala's Indian restaurant, Kipos Greek restaurant (my favorite) and Al's Burger Shack (my husband's favorite), as well... More

We are a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teen kids). We had a fun late afternoon with Cat on the Carboro/Chapel Hill tour. She was fun and informative. The food was fantastic and filling. Definitely places we would not have tried on our own. Thanks for adding a special tour for our family. Loved the coffee lesson at... More

My wife and I wanted to get to know the Carrboro/Chapel Hill area of North Carolina, and this eating/drinking/history tour seemed a good way to begin. We couldn't be more pleased that we did. Our guides, Jessica and Cat(herine) were knowledgeable and delightful hosts who kept everything in tune as we moved from place to place. The food and drink... More

We've foregone buying presents for family members now for two years -everyone much prefers experiential gifts... And for the 2nd year in a row, Taste Carolina was INCREDIBLE. Our tour guide, Adrienne, introduced us to flavors and restaurants that I didn't even know existed in Chapel Hill/Carrboro. What a selection, from French/American to Indian to Southern Kitchen, and from beer... More

My husband and I took the Taste of Carolina tour in Carrboro and it was outstanding! The food was great; talking to the restaurant owners was very informative and interesting; and the guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. I have multiple food sensitivities and quite honestly, I was wondering what I would eat. But every place made accommodations for me.... More

This was a great way to spend an afternoon. Our guide was very pleasant and kept us informed. There was a fair amount of walking, which was wonderful on a warm sunny March day. When we arrived at each location, we were met by someone dynamic and passionate about there establishment. Getting a taste of their wares and having them... More

We felt like this tour was light on food and information. The actual business owners were great and the food was good but there either needed to be more guidance and information from the guide or more generous portions. Not a bad time but not worth $45.

Thank you for joining us on our Chapel Hill/ Carrboro brunch tour, and thank you for taking the time to post a review. We strive to provide customers with plenty of food and information on all our tours, and we feel we have done this very successfully. But some weeks are more challenging than others. Taste Carolina arranged a special Carrboro/Chapel Hill walking tour for us on a Wednesday (usually on a Saturday). Our guide Susan was fabulous - so nice, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and took us to great places. We were given food/drink samples at every stop and really got to taste some things we would not have found on our own. The walking part... More

Wonderful, highly recommend. Meagan our guide was great. Not only did we get history lessons of Carrboro and Chapel Hill, but also most of the food/drink stops. Each stop was ready for us with samples and stories. Could not have been better. Great stops at the Farmers Market. Who knew NC wine could be so good, well Benjamin Vineyards knows... More
