We went on the Chapel Hill, Carborro food tour and had Cat as our guide! She was so professional but also so fun to spend an afternoon with. It was clear that she was very in-the-know on the food scene in the area. The food we tasted was great, we learned so much, and had such a pleasant experience. I... More

This experience exceeded expectations. Kat provided a good pace, good tastes, and a lot of local info and color. Although we've lived in the area for 10 years, we had not dined at these places. That changed quickly, which means the tour is good for the merchants as well as the tasters. We look forward to trying this in some... More

Our tour guide, Kat, was perfect! She was friendly, relaxed, informative and kept us all on schedule (as best as she could!) The Farmers Market and the restaurants were a nice selection. Even though I've lived in Chapel Hill 40 years I learned a lot and was fortunate enough to get to try out several restaurants I've wanted to try... More

I was in Chapel Hill on business and a local member of our group put together a Taste Carolina tour for us. Being a Friday night we had to start early (4pm) but that also allowed us to take over restaurants without upsetting their workday too much. Kat was our guide and did a fantastic job of herding us around... More

This is my first tripadvisor review, although I use its reviews often! Taste Carolina motivated me to start returning the favor. I just took my third tour with them last weekend. I had been putting off the Chapel Hill/Carrboro tour because I live here and I was sure I had covered all the foodie bases. Wrong! Lesley introduced me to... More

my wife and I just attended our third Taste of Carolina tour and it was just as good or better than the first two! You will be introduced to awesome dining spots, meet new people, and learn a lot along the way. We routinely give these as gifts! Highly recommended!

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the Taste Carolina tour in Chapel Hill/Carrboro with Lesley. We went on the 3:00 tour, which lasted around 3 hours. We visited 6 restaurants. From homemade pastrami on rye (with sangria!) to Indian to Greek to a local beer brew sampling, and more! Everything was delicious and fresh. Very ample portions (come hungry!!) The... More

The most fun, interesting, and awesomely delicious three hour tour. So enjoyed this adventure! We had a beautiful spring Saturday afternoon & a wonderful, fun tour guide, Cat. The restaurants were all great and varied, with ample, delicious sampling. Each stop was welcoming & informative. Absolutely recommend this tour!

My husband and I took the Taste Carolina Chapel Hill/Carrboro Dinner and Drinks Tour. We were lucky to have Lesley as our tour guide, and a wonderful group of people to do the tour with. We visited 6 places - including Acme restaurant, Vimala's Indian restaurant, Kipos Greek restaurant (my favorite) and Al's Burger Shack (my husband's favorite), as well... More

We are a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teen kids). We had a fun late afternoon with Cat on the Carboro/Chapel Hill tour. She was fun and informative. The food was fantastic and filling. Definitely places we would not have tried on our own. Thanks for adding a special tour for our family. Loved the coffee lesson at... More
