I participated with a group of 7 friends on a walking food tour of Chapel Hill and Carrboro this past Saturday, May 31 and had a fantastic time! It was a very hot day but several of the restaurants on the tour tried to cool us down with some lighter, cooler food offerings. There were a good variety of restaurants... More

I attended the Chapel Hill Food Tour this past Saturday, 1/31 with my husband, son and daughter-in-law and we had THE BEST time. We had a great group leader and a great group of people to accompany us. So looking forward to doing another tour soon. Here are my three top picks from the tour; however, all of our stops... More

Had a wonderful time on this tour. Group of 10 people and it lasted just over 3 hours. The walking between locations was perfect to help digest between restaurants. All in all I was so full by time tour was over. We visited six restaurants and got a great mix of food & beverage. I can't wait to visit some... More

Having done two tours in Raleigh with a competitor, I had a pretty good idea of what to expect. The competitor not only did a food tour but also intermingled it with a tour of the city and gave some history as we walked. Not being overly familiar with Chapel Hill or Carborro, I was hoping to learn a little... More

Thank you Triangle Food Tour, and a special thanks to our guide Sara for a fantastic walking tour, sampling some great food in Chapel Hill and Carborro. Sara provided an ongoing, fun dialogue about the cities history and the background behind many of the murals adorning the buildings. Our group of 9 people visited 6 restaurants offering a wide variety... More

It was our first time exploring downtown Chapel hill and adjoining Carrboro. The choices of restaurants varied and excellent. We sampled nouveau organic indian cuisine, italian, irish pub food and even a gourmet chocolate store. The tour guides like to keep the restaurants a secret so you don't research ahead of time and form preconceived ideas. If you can't walk... More

Learn history of the town/city you are touring, meet the chefs, and leave happy and full. Nothing but rave reviews from this consumer.
