My fiancée and I do a lot of our shopping here. Their coffee and espresso is incredible. Fantastic selection of wine, beer, cheese, and gifts for all occasions. So thankful to live a short drive from here.

I visit Chapel Hill where I have family and Southern Season has been a regular stop on each trip since 1990. Having lived in Europe for many years, I find that this Foodie's paradise offers many treats from my home across the pond. Starting with the coffee. Their extensive selection is impressive. Are you not sure what you want? They... More

I went with a friend I visit, we went to this store last year & loved it. My recent trip, we went back. It's a specialty store. They have a nice variety of coffees, teas, the accessories. A large selection of wines, candy, sugar-free too. A deli, bakery, a little place you can eat. They also have a small variety... More

As a one time resident of Chapel Hill with fond memories of Southern Season. I was looking forward to enjoying lunch with old friends. How disappointed I was. A gaggle of girls at the host stand barely acknowledged me, fortunately I was able to see the table where my friends were seated, so I seated myself. In a nutshell- the... More

Food....Wine....Spices....Olive Oils...Chocolate.....Kitchen Utensils....I can just keep going and going and going!! A fantastic place to wander and browse, even if you have nothing special in mind. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. And now in Charleston, SC as well. Well-worth the visit.

Decided to send family and friends gift baskets this year. Ordered 6 total. Five were incorrect. I spent no less than 2 hours on the phone with their CS people as what I ordered was showing up incorrectly on my customer page. When my orders started to ship I received tracking info and the first order was shipped to wrong... More

Could spend hours in it. Plan to have the quiche for one of your meals and check out the kitchen section.

Was visiting a friend for a girls weekend. I purchased a large can of white chocolate pecans for my husband as I left him home for this trip. Well, we were both disappointed when he opened the can and found not only were they a cheap milk chocolate they were also peanuts, not pecans! So be aware you may not... More

Stumbled upon this shop in the yellow pages while looking for a gift shop while in Raleigh recently- and I am glad I did! I decided to make a trip over and check it out. This store has just about every gourmet food item you might be looking for, with an emphasis on Southern specialties. From the tea, coffee, candy,... More

This beautiful store with great service and products poorly performed when it came to purchasing chocolates. I knew they carried Neuhaus chocolates and was disgusted by what I saw. Some milk chocolates turned orange, and the dark chocolate (Albert) looked dried and covered with a white coat. These chocolates sell for $60.00 per pound and this store should know better.... More
