Great girls afternoon out!

Had a great afternoon tasting wine with Mark, who not only did our tasting but gave a very thorough and entertaining tour of the facilities! Wonderful spur-the-moment thing to do!

This winery was a wonderful find. Take the time and visit. The location is not the best, but it is worth the time. My wife and I found this place very relaxing as we sat outside on the patio.

We brought a group here as part of a wine tasting tour. Although the pre-tour service was odd at best, the tasting itself was well handled by the knowledgable Nancy at the desk, and the tour was interesting as conducted by the owner. It is worth putting on your tour rota.

This winery shoppe was neat as a pin with a wide selection of wine. My companion bought several bottles after trying a bridge of favors. Service was prompt, extremely knowledgable and friendly. The wine is fairly priced and tasty. The ambiance is very nice.

We came to Chatham Hill Winery for the Labor Day special of 5 wines paired with 5 cheeses for $25. There was a choice of either dry wines or sweet wines. The wines differed but the cheeses offered were the same for both dry and sweet wines. The wine samplings were quite generous. I tried the dry wines and the... More

Nice tasting, good price for the amount of varieties you get to taste, would recommend stopping and trying the wines.

We enjoyed the tasting. The setting is pretty close to the road, and the tasting bar as well as the tables can get crowded. The staff sometimes gets tied up and your tasting can get stalled, so allow extra time on a Saturday afternoon.

Chatham Hill Winery is one of North Carolina's oldest wineries, which is to say that it is about 17 years old. Considering NC was the largest producer of wine in the nation prior to Prohibition, this is actually very sad as the combination of Prohibition, the Great Depression and World War II effectively killed NC's wine industry. Bible thumping legislators... More

Unfortunately, this was not the experience I had hoped it would be for my first time in. I saw the varietals that they were making wine out of and thought it would be great. Unfortunately, many of the wines had off-tastes to them, or tasted overly sour, unlike what the varietal should have tasted like. For a $10 tasting, I'm... More

Stopped in for a tasting, 10 dollar fee and you get a glass. Eight tastings for this fee and the pourer chooses your tastings. Some of their wines were good others so so. Atmosphere was great and others visiting and tasting were very friendly. Glad I went.
