I like walking and biking here, but I'd rent a boat, instead of bringing your own. The put-in is set up for a trailer, so it's slippery. Instead of grass or a beach, it's cement, so it's not a good place for fiberglass or kevler canoes or sea kayaks. The put-in area is not maintained, so its full of debris,... More

There isn't much to complain about this wonderful park within walking distance of where I live. I go there very often, at least weekly, to enjoy the trails and the lake view. Different kinds of trails from paved to dirt path. You can walk around the lake. An excellent planned and executed park.

Whether you want an easy walk along the greenway, or a bit more challenging hike around the lake, Bond Park is a great spot for hiking right in Cary. Lots of other activities including playgrounds for the kids, a lake for fishing, sailboating or paddleboats, and a big open field for flying kites or just hanging out.

Loved the paddle boats, big play areas, concession stand and fishing for the kids. Great place to relax for a few hours.

The pictures is of Koka Booth Amphitheater in Cary and not Fred G. Bond Metro Park in Cary. Bond Park is a great place for family fun. There is a lake, trails, an amphitheater and lots of events. Note: The picture above is of Koka Booth Amphitheater in Cary and not Fred G. Bond Metro Park in Cary.

There is so much to do...feed ducks, paddle boat, play area, and much more. We love walking the trails in the evening. Every time we go it is a new and exciting adventure...lots of wonderful picture opportunities.

This park is amazing. A lake beautiful scenery birds chirping very serene. Seen turtles, ducks and geese. Picnic tables and boat rentals available during certain times. I seen one guy brought his own hammock. I would highly recommend this park for walking or just relaxing!

Just beware if there has been rain - real drainage issues esp on trail around lake. There are lots of nooks for places to get cozy with your family. Lots of dogs, I like dogs just letting you know. Restrooms are always clean.

Liked hanging around the lake and enjoying the beauty. My kids loved the picnic by the lake. The playground is great too.
