My favorite aspects of the Bond park are the many choices of walking trails and the abundant wildlife (ducks, Great Blue Herons, Barred Owls, Red-tailed Hawks, and more). Its a wonderful place with choices of paved trails versus natural ones -- something for everyone. The children in the park have a little play area, and there are numerous ball fields,... More

It is a big park in Cary, NC surrounding a lake. There is a trail around the lake and it connects to the Cary walkway. You can also canoe and fish on the lake, there is a little shop, BBQ places and lots of parking. The huge open field is a nice place to let your dog run a bit.

Bond Lake Park has a lot of shaded walkways to enjoy on a hot, sunny day. There are ball fields and a large open field to play on as well. They also have free concerts courtesy of the Pine Cone group in the Seratoma Amphitheater.

A group of seniors from our church go to Bond Park every summer for a picnic. We also use the park for a summer picnic for the senior center which is located in Bond Park. It is easy to reserve the space. The staff is very helpful and the parking is adequate and very near the shelter. It is a... More

It's a very good recreation area for the Cary communities closed by. Like many other recreational park, it's quiet, beatiful. Quite a few people do fishing, dog walking, jogging here. Kids do have playground to enjoy and there is a few picnic places in the forrest or on lake side. There are plenty of parking lots free of charge. You... More

Vacationing with family in the Cary area. We were looking for a good place to introduce the baby girl to her first fishing experience and for our middle sons next chance to catch the big one! This lake is awesome. Tia Chia lessons were going on across the pond which made for a very peaceful morning. Nothing was caught but... More

Bond park has a variety of trails to walk through around a beautiful area of water. You can rent kayaks, canoes-you have an option to rent a small motor for the canoe-which is a separate charge, pedal boats, and sail boats. You can bring your own boat as long as its under 16 ft. and isn't gasoline powered. There is... More

Cary park system is a premier parks network and Bond is at the top of the list. Unbelievable programs, community center, Senior Citizen center, playground, picnic shelters, amphitheater, and ball fields. Also has a lake, fishing, watercraft, nature center and a Cope course.
