Bond Park is a great family place. You can go there on a picnic, kayak the lake or walk the two mile trail around the lake. It is a very peaceful setting but it can get crowded some days. The best time is to go during the week.

Took my 4 year old for a nice walk and peddling on the lake. The park is secluded, and has a lot activities to offer. Will definitely be back to enjoy the park with the family and to explore the trails. A must even if it's for a short walk, you will never feel cluster phobic.

My favorite aspects of the Bond park are the many choices of walking trails and the abundant wildlife (ducks, Great Blue Herons, Barred Owls, Red-tailed Hawks, and more). Its a wonderful place with choices of paved trails versus natural ones -- something for everyone. The children in the park have a little play area, and there are numerous ball fields,... More

It is a big park in Cary, NC surrounding a lake. There is a trail around the lake and it connects to the Cary walkway. You can also canoe and fish on the lake, there is a little shop, BBQ places and lots of parking. The huge open field is a nice place to let your dog run a bit.

Bond Lake Park has a lot of shaded walkways to enjoy on a hot, sunny day. There are ball fields and a large open field to play on as well. They also have free concerts courtesy of the Pine Cone group in the Seratoma Amphitheater.
