It was a rainy day but armed with umbrellas and raincoats we still had a great time. Our tour guide, Sarah, was personable, animated, and knowledgeable. We had a variety of locations to try out- the food was very good at each location and I was surprised that most also included a wine or beer. It was fun to meet... More

Although we had eaten in Durham many times, I had NO idea how much we were missing out on! Triangle Food Tour was the perfect way to spend our day; delectable food, delightful company, and anecdotal history of the area! Each restaurant was vastly different from the last, making for a diverse and well rounded day of tasting. The perfect... More

The 6 restaurants we visited on the food your in Durham were awesome!! Delicious food and really unique restaurants that I would not have picked otherwise. I will definitely be going back to Fishmonger's and Gonza in durham on a regular basis. We also got to learn a lot about Durham's history and our tour guide was amazing! Great afternoon... More

I went on the Chapel Hill/Carrboro food tour this weekend and loved it! 5 out of the 6 restaurants were wonderful! The food was so good, the portion-size was incredible, and the chefs came out to talk to us. I was very impressed with how personable they were and how carefully they chose their food to share with us! The... More

We did the Raleigh walking food tour. (Note: there is a *lot* of walking on this tour, which I really enjoyed, but folks with mobility problems may not enjoy or even be able to participate. But that's the nature of walking food tours.) Some of the restaurants' food selections were only so-so. At 18 Seaboard, we got fried green tomatoes,... More

We thank you for your feedback. FYI, the gourmet hot dog stop on the tour is Tasty 8. We agree you should have been offered an alternative beverage, such as a glass of water, etc. Because you were disappointed with the experience we plan to offer you a $25 gift certificate to the tour restaurant of your choice. I highly recommend this tour. It was a gift from my daughter and I did not know what to expect. The tour guide ( Meredith) was great and told us where we would be going, how long we would be at each stop and how long it would take to get to each place. The people in our group were... More

Participated in the Triangle Food Tour (Chapel Hill & Carrboro) on December 6, 2014. Although it was raining, we had a great time tasting the food, walking & talking to the chefs. The chefs were very forthcoming with any question asked. Loved the afternoon & would highly recommend this tour.

I have lived here 33 years and know the area well. It was raining, but that did nothing to dampen our spirits, as the trip was so well done. We stopped at several places I already knew where the food was fabulous, such as Zenda and Seaboard 18. But new places were added into the mix that made it intriguing,... More

Downtown Raleigh now has a bakery/patisserie you'll want to visit...soon! Lucettegrace opened just a couple of weeks ago at 235 S. Salisbury Street, though you'll wonder if you've been magically transported to Paris or Vienna when you taste the creations of Daniel Benjamin, chef/owner. On the Triangle Food Tour, we sampled five of his creations while talking with him about... More
