Participated in the Triangle Food Tour (Chapel Hill & Carrboro) on December 6, 2014. Although it was raining, we had a great time tasting the food, walking & talking to the chefs. The chefs were very forthcoming with any question asked. Loved the afternoon & would highly recommend this tour.

I have lived here 33 years and know the area well. It was raining, but that did nothing to dampen our spirits, as the trip was so well done. We stopped at several places I already knew where the food was fabulous, such as Zenda and Seaboard 18. But new places were added into the mix that made it intriguing,... More

Downtown Raleigh now has a bakery/patisserie you'll want to visit...soon! Lucettegrace opened just a couple of weeks ago at 235 S. Salisbury Street, though you'll wonder if you've been magically transported to Paris or Vienna when you taste the creations of Daniel Benjamin, chef/owner. On the Triangle Food Tour, we sampled five of his creations while talking with him about... More

I did the Durham Food Tour with my brother & wife who were visiting from WI. It was fabulous! You cannot beat this tour for a great activity with friends & relatives. We were most impressed with Fishmongers' food; very well-prepared with a very unique atmosphere. It also was the first time the tour visited Ed Mtichell's Que (Mr. Mitchell... More

I recently moved to the Chapel Hill area and I thought a way to meet people and places at the same time. Then, I stumbled upon some information about this fantastic tour so I booked it! When I did it, there was only one spot left, so that was a good sign. We meet at the beautiful Franklin Hotel right... More

The downtown Cary walking tour was a really fun afternoon activity. I really loved the restaurants Academy Street Bistro and Belle. There was a good variety of food options from hot dogs to crab cakes to chocolate truffles. This is a great activity for a group of friends!

Had we not received the gift certificate from our son for the walking tour, we never would have thought about participating in this experience. However, we would have missed out on a fabulous time! The tour guide was very informative about Durham, its history and recent growth. We thoroughly enjoyed the restaurants selected for the tour (five) and appreciated the... More

I have taken several food tours through Triangle Food Tour and love doing them! The Chapel Hill and Durham tours are some of my favorites! We recently did the Cary food tour and absolutely loved the Academy Street Bistro and Belle restaurants. The owners were very welcoming and very dedicated to using only local ingredients, which makes a difference in... More

Our genial and knowledgeable guide, Sarah, engaged and educated us while keeping us on track. Posta Tuscan Grille Chef Michael Rigot and his staff provided sumptuous dish after dish along with a personal dialogue that ensures we will return to the Marriott when the restaurant transitions to its new moniker, Rye Bar & Southern Kitchen. We were more than pleased... More

We did the downtown Cary walking food tour as part of corporate work event and we were all glad we did this event. The food tour was a great experience and our tour guide Sarah was very knowledgeable about the history of the restaurants and was good at handling our (sometimes wandering and rambunctious) group. One of our members was... More
