We had out of town friends visiting and decided to do this tour of restaurants in downtown Durham. We had a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. They limit the group to 10 people which was very nice. We tried unique and very good places, all were very tasty. We had the owner or manager of each place tell us... More

My wife and I went on the Chapel Hill/Carrboro food tour last weekend, and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was the perfect amount of walking to keep us hungry from stop to stop, and the food and drink were superb throughout. We especially enjoyed some places we'd never been, Glasshalffull and Provence in Carrboro; Kipos Greek Taverna in Chapel Hill, as... More

We met up with 6 other couples in downtown Raleigh and sampled four plates total at 3 different restaurants within walking distance in the Fayetteville St area: Capital Club 16, Zinda and The Oxford. All three were international and eclectic - offering more than their "heritage". The plates were "small plates", but in total offered just the right amount of... More

Who knew downtown Cary had so much good food to offer? We discovered so many hidden gems right here in our own backyard. Our out-of-town guests enjoyed it as much as we did. Definitely going back to Café 121 for fried green beans, and Academy St Bistro for crab cakes. Delicious!

My husband and I just finished our 2nd Triangle Food Tour. We did the one in Durham last year and the one in Chapel Hill/Carrboro this past Saturday. Both tours were gifts from friends but we would purchase them ourselves because they are so much fun. Being a die hard Wolfpacker, I have not spent much time in Chapel Hill... More

This food tour is wonderful. I have now been fortuante enought to do two of them the downtown Raleigh one and the Chapel HIll/Carborro one and they are both awesome!! The tour guides are very friendly and kowledgeable. The restuarants are very welcoming with good sized portions for you to sample. And the overall atmosphere is always great! This is... More

When ever I have an out of town guest or looking for a fun girls day out the triangle food tour is the first thing that comes to my mind. The tour guides are always very friendly and informative. You will not believe the portion sizes that you will be getting at each stop. Most places will also offer a... More

I have lived in the area for over ten years and it was still very informative. I took the Chapel Hill tour...The tour far exceeded my expectations. I could not have imagined the quality of the food or the portion sizes we were served. Add to the fact we were served wine, beer and alcohol and the tour couldn't have... More

My husband and I went on the Triangle Food Tour of downtown Cary with three other couples and had a great time. We were pleasantly surprised at how many restaurants where included in the tour - from Blue Moon Bakery, a specialty bakery, to the new Academy Street Bistro, an upscale contemporary eatery with a great wine list. We loved... More
