Good value and nice course.

Course is in OK condition considering all the rain. Some greens are borderline perfect, others not so much. Beautiful layout. Happy to return, especially for the price.

Played East Course on a Sunday afternoon. Greens are in great shape. Course is in a natural setting with no houses anywhere around. Staff was very friendly. We will return!!

I played both the East and West courses on my recent trip to Ocean Isle. This is by far the best conditions I've played this year so far for public links. The greens were very good, only a couple had problem areas. I prefer the East course for a good challenge. The staff was friendly and accommodating which can be... More

Return visit to play a round. Absolutely the best deal you will find when visiting Myrtle Beach. Only a short drive (<30 minutes) but well worth it. Staff were all very kind & the course is breathtaking. Nice fairways & greens. The whole course is very very well maintained. We will visit again before we leave. M. Joslin

Ah...the Pearl. Played the east course and found conditions the best they have been in a long time. Tees and fairways were very good and all but one green was excellent. I still think the designer came up with 15 holes and had to figure out where to put the other three, but fifteen good holes is still worth the... More

Quality golf course that is very challenging and always in great condition. The Pearl East and West courses are on my "A-list".

Have played the East Course a few times in the past. Yesterday's round was extremely disappointing. The greens are in horrible shape with virtually no grass and no ability to stop approach shots from the fairway. We finished nine holes and due to an unexpected rain storm, called it a day. We will avoid playing the East Course anytime soon,... More

Hi Dan, We are sorry you did not enjoy your experience here at The Pearl. We pride ourselves in offering our players the best possible conditions we can. You played in a transition period on The East course, where the winter overseed had been taken out in order for the summer Bermuda grass to come back. We certainly hope you... More

Just played and the east course was in great shape. Greens were slow and no roll up onto the greens One had to be careful with ball placement on a few holes. The 500 yard 18th hole was a challenge Will come back

We played Pearl West on April 24, 2015 and was a good course to play. Very challenging and demanding at times, so bring your A game else it will be a long day. Greens were somewhat hard and didn't receive the ball very well on long shots and often ended up at the back of the green. I don’t think... More

Thank you for playing the Pearl. I just wanted to take a second and address some of the issues you mentioned. The firmness of the greens will be addressed when we aerate them in June. Typically we would want to aerate bent grass in April but we would rather wait until our spring golf season is finished. I agree with... More

We are vacationing in Myrtle Beach, and have played the East Course twice. It is a challenging and attractive course, and in excellent shape for this time of year, considering recent weather. Course and Club House staff are friendly and competent. One significant problem though, the on course washrooms are awful, one set non operational and filthy, the other desperately... More
