For the amount of horse riding that we did I expected a little more. We rode for 2 hours through the mountains, which was beautiful, but that's pretty much all we did. We walked the horses the entire time, and (minus the gorgeous views) I found it a little boring. If you like relaxing activities with little physical effort put... More

I had such a great time here. I was staying next door at Buck House Inn and arranged a few rides. David is a great man and makes people feel at ease. He cares for the horses well and they are obviously happy. I had such a lovely time. My horse was great. I can ride so I appreciated having... More

My family and I stayed in Asheville for several days and my 17 year old son wanted to go riding. We researched stables in the area and found that Wolf Laurel Stables stood out for their reasonable prices to their great reviews. I will say that the drive from the resort gate to the stables is long, not well maintained,... More

The people who work there are very nice. My two young daughters are no experienced about the horseback riding in the mountain. The horses are very well trained. We enjoyed the time there. Thanks!

The team at Wolf Laurel stables are the best. This was the first trail ride for both of my daughters and they were a bit nervous. Everyone at Wolf Laurel made sure they were comfortable on their horses and their nerves went away immediately. The trail ride took about 2 hours and we traveled through the beautiful mountains of North... More

My boyfriend and I are experienced horseback riders. We thoroughly enjoyed our Trailride with Wolf Laurel stable horses. David, the owner, was very friendly and Isaac, our guide, was a great guy and knowledgeable.

David has great horses and runs a warm, friendly and quality stables. He also gives great hugs! The Preserves are beautiful and my guide, Morgan was stupendous. A truly pleasant, fun, and utterly delightful 3 hour ride. Jean McLendon

David and his guides know these mountain trails like the back of their hands. They offer their guests a unique riding experience as they are treated to beautiful mountain scenery in a pristine conservation area and are even located right next door to an award-winning B&B if you want to take some more time to enjoy the beauty if this... I liked the stable owner, trail horses, and trail guide. I hadn't ridden for a while and never up and down mountain trails. I discovered that I was using muscles in my back that I didn't know I had--especially going down the mountain. Scenery was excellent. A real mountain trail with trees and shrubs and streams. Enjoyed hanging around the... More
