We went on the one hour ride, and we all loved it. We are all full sized adults that are not used to riding horses and we had a great time. The horses were very gentle and very very well trained, they knew what they were doing and where they were going even though we did not. Our trail guide... More

I called earlier in the week and had a reservation for 1pm. I wasn't sure how to find the stables but I stopped in at the building near the road and they pointed us in the right direction. We had a great time on the 1 hour ride. It was the perfect length of time. We (my wife and 3... More

Although we never connected directly to make a reservation prior to arriving, our multiple phone messages secured our ride time. We were lucky to be the only two riders and a had great up close and personal experience with Dave and our guide. We learned a lot about the history of the area. The horses were great, the scenery so... More

The trails were very closed in, very hilly, very smelly from horse manure and mud and very hot. The trails were quite muddy so the horses kept slipping. I was afraid I was going to fall off. We have paid to horseback ride in several states and I would say this was our least favorite.

Junie was our guide and he had me laughing the whole way. He's been working with Dave at this place for 17 years. He gave me the story on each horse, everything about the area and other anecdotes. My sons 11 and 7 years old enjoyed the trip too. My husband rode Pearl, I had Flash, my youngest had Dennis... More

My 2 year old rode with his dad and my 4 year old was able to ride on a horse by herself ( the guide held a rope attached to my 4 yr olds horse). They absolutely loved the experience. This was both of the kids first time on a horse and they could not stop talking about it....so much... More

We made a reservation on line and we started 20 minutes late as we waited for the last group to return. I observed the 7 horses return to a roofed area, then the same animals came out to be mounted by our group. No apparent routine safety checks of equipment or animal (checking saddle fit, hooves, stirrups, etc.) Staff spotted... More

In response to your August 9th horseback ride. The roofed area other wise known as racks has a water trough available at all time to all horses at which the must walk by after every trip. As the horses are brought to the loading area each saddle is checked. After the rider has mounted the stirrups are adjusted and the... More

While on our family vacation we found this riding stable, and we had the best time ever while at their facility. It was a bit difficult to locate, but it was worth it. The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. They have had this stables for over thirty years and it is family owned and operated. We had the... More
