We have joined Rolling Thunder two times now for an excellent day down the Nantahala River. They are nice, priced right, great guides, safe, and lots of fun! From the time we arrived til the time we departed the staff and facilities were very accomodating. Everyone was patient and kind. The safety instructions, shuttle bus ride, and the actual rafting trip was very entertaining. Our guide, "Thumper" John was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He kept us laughing and safe. Thanks to our guide, Wayne, we had a phenomenal white-water rafting experience. Most of us (ages 10 to 40's) white-water raft for the first time and we had an enjoyable time!
