Kudos to the chef and staff; a beautiful end to the week with fine food and friends

A wide variety of appetizers, salads, entrees, and the BEST BLUEBERRY PIE ever - anywhere! We enjoyed a Friday evening with friends at Sander's Ridge. Dinner was delicious and... read more

We visited this winery while on vacation in Dobson / Mt. Airy area of North Carolina. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. Lots of outdoor seating and a nice big porch. You can feed the fish (and turtles) in the lake. The lady that did our wine tasting the first day we were there was the daughter of the owner. She... More

The winery and it's surroundings are gorgeous. We had dinner and brunch (available to cabin guests) and while dinner was wonderful they really should discontinue the brunch availability as it was a comedy of errors and no one really cared. We enjoyed the wine, although the tasting experience was dampened by them charging a dollar a taste for anything extra... More

A wide variety of appetizers, salads, entrees, and the BEST BLUEBERRY PIE ever - anywhere! We enjoyed a Friday evening with friends at Sander's Ridge. Dinner was delicious and more than ample! Delicious farm-to-table salad items, The Best Pimento Cheese and crostini, chicken breast entree, scallop entree, and crab cake entree. "Family Sides" included grilled asparagus, creamy buttermillk mashed potatoes,... More

This winery is set in the country near a small pond. There is also a restaurant which looked nice, although we did not eat there. We enjoyed the wine tasting but felt all the wines were young and not very good. We liked the Trillium, a white blend, the most.

This is a beautiful drive, beautiful property and beautiful buildings. The tasting room is hand sawn wood and is in the room with a first class restaurant. There are porches to sit on and a pond with benches to sit and sip. They also have a zip line and a cabin to rent for a nice quiet vacation in the... More

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch in the restaurant before we did a tasting at the bar. Enjoyed it, and visited another winery that was not on our list at their suggestion and recommendation.

You have to know this place or be lucky to find it. Set very out of the way but worth the effort. Good wine tasting and a lovely restaurant. We were there for lunch - great table overlooking the river, good simple lunch food and great service. Portions were very large and more than we could eat. GPS has it... More

I was doing a solo winery tour one day and stopped here because I had been here before and knew the food was good. It's even better now under the new chef. They have added some entrees and the muscadine chicken is out of this world. The prices are a wee bit expensive, but worth it. I have had sandwiches... More

The wine was so-so. The service was terrible! It took forever to get our food. The waiter kept apologizing, but didn't correct his bad behavior. The food was good, but overpriced. We sat outside by the lake, but bugs kept crawling all over our food and getting in our drinks.

I did not like Sanders Ridge wine. It's honestly the only time I have been wine tasting and I actually stopped a wine tasting. Their selection of wines were horrible and to think this is what they are giving you to make an impression! The restaurant seemed really nice and the grounds were beautiful they just need to really improve... More
