Overall, the experience was one-of-a-kind awesome. Totally affordable for the experience. In September, myself and two friends went white water rafting (wwr) with Wahoo on the Nolichucky River. My hometown is Boone, NC, where Wahoo is based, and while I've wwr a number of times growing up, it had been a while since I'd been on a river, let alone... More

I spent the afternoon kayaking with my son, aged 12, and a great friend, aged 73. It was fun for each of us at our different ages. Wahoos did a great job setting us up and allowed us to spend as much time on the river as we wanted. (It wasn't busy) It was all of our first time out,... More

We rafted (actually was like tubing) in the Elizabethton, TN outpost. The customer service received by the lady at Wahoo's at Boone was very good, the same was the affable guide Lucas on the rafting. We believe this river is not the one to choose for rafting not even for beginners, it is a very boring experience. We did this... More

Our family had an excellent time river rafting with Robert as our guide. Everyone (from age 9 to 75) had a blast and enjoyed Robert's pleasant company and story telling. He was very helpful both on and off the river, even offering to show us a local waterfall spot and also recommending a place for us to have dinner.

In late June 2014 I took my two kids 16 and 12, with two of their friends tubing with Wahoo's. The day was awesome, a little cool in the morning but then the sun came out and our second trip was nice and warm. The employees at Wahoo's were wonderful. Alex, Jeffery, Hunter and Chris were so helpful and gave... More

Wow. The owner is crazy. I've never had someone speak to me in such a disrespectful manner. I almost thought it was a prank. This business is a sham. They will lie to you about the water and weather conditions just to get you on the raft and make their money. Read the other 57 terrible reviews before you book... More

My husband posted a negative review of our experience with this company. The owner called him during our breakfast three times in a matter of ten minutes to threaten him. He even left a threatening voicemail. The owner said he had refunded our money, but if we didn't remove the review we'd be charged again! I played the disturbing message... More

WOW, the MOB? At least the “MOB” doesn’t lie or break an agreed-to contract . Even the MOB has honor... YOU and your husband (aka; LIFEEEEEE,the review just below this posting) on the other hand, have none! I am a man of my word, unlike the two of you, who have proven yourselves not to be. Your husband canceled your... More

I booked a white water rafting package. One week before the trip when I could cancel and receive a refund on my deposit I requested to do just that due to weather. I was told to call back in a week to check the temperatures at that time, so I agreed to do just that. A week later the weather... More

We went out on the Nolichucky with Wahoo in the second week of September. They mentioned that it was a bit past their busy season so we only had two boats in our group. The water levels were higher because of recent rain. Chas was our boat guide and he gave us a great experience. He was friendly, knowledgeable and... More
