We are homeowners at Hound Ears Club. We purchased here so we could enjoy tennis, golf , hiking, fishing and cool weather with awesome views. The Club food is amazing and families welcome. It is ideally located between Boone and Blowing Rock with with Grandfather Mountain and Tweetsie Railroad nearby. Appalachian Summer and Winter Festivals allow for sophisticated speakers, music... 12 of us truly enjoyed this course and venue. I would highly recommend this, and it was fun but just enough of a challenge for our group. I would rate this 5 star

This is one of my favorite golf courses to play. It's located in the mountains but it's tucked in a valley. I wouldn't say the condition or layout is perfect but it's just a nice track to play. Noses stuck so far up in the air, no room for air. Hard to say if food was any good as atmosphere was so stifling.
