Fantastic experience! Our first time caving, had no idea what to expect! Aeon and David led us expertly through the caves. They kept it challenging for the entire group, sprinkled in just a bit of history... and kept us laughing <well tried their best> with tour-guide jokes :) Josh prepared a fantastic lunch and joined us for the second half... We did the caving/rafting combo with Brian and David. They were amazing guides who really took safety into account while having a lot of fun. We had come to the area from Florida with our Girl Scout troop so we had eight 14 year olds. They guides joked with them and were very encouraging and supportive. They really made the... More

We went on a whitewater trip down the Watauga river in Elizabethton, TN, and was fairly unimpressed with the river as a whole. One of the guides seemed very inexperienced, and was hung up on everything in the river, which seemed to be part of the reason that our boat became flipped (with my 9 year in it as well).... More

We did the cave/raft tour with River Earth Adventures, and my 7-year-old daughter ranks it as the best day of her summer. We were in a group with several children and moms. From the outpost in Elizabethton, TN, it was a quick ride to the cave, and a short hike to the mouth. Once inside, our guide showed us all... More

My teenage son, husband and I went spelunking at Worley's Cave with River & Earth Adventures our guides were Eliah and Logan. If you have never tried it we highly recommend it. I was nervous to tell the truth since I was afraid the realization of being in a cave might make me feel trapped, but the experience was quite... More

I kayaked solo for the first time at age 60 with REA. I went with a guide, Brody, and 2 young boys on the New River. For an old lady and a first-timer, this worked out well! It was calm and not scary at all. We got some excellent instruction from Brody and had a good time, enjoying the beautiful... More

Adventure was great and full of fun. It is worth your money plus it includes lunch. You get to see pictures of the whole trip after the fact and you are able to take those memories home.

Our family had been wanting to get out and go rafting for some time. We linked up with River and Earth adventures and had a fantastic trip on the Watauga. The length was great and our kids, age 3 and 6 had a blast. I can't wait to go again.

Make sure you understand what you're getting for your money; in our case, we booked a tubing trip down the New River for our family. I had planned the short tubing ride, a stop to eat the picnic lunch I had packed, and then a longer afternoon tube. After we checked-in, paid, and did the paperwork at their location in... More

We live in NC but had never whitewater rafted as a family. My son chose this day trip for his 7th birthday as you must be 7 to go. The guides were super fun but professional and knowledgable and at our lunch they magically pulled out of coolers, there was also a birthday cake for our son. He was so... More
