Bulk old time candy, unique toys and jewelry. Didn't check out clothing, rather crowded. Was Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Wooden floors give it old General Store feeling. Didn't give it five stars only because I felt some items were way over priced.

Our family vacations in Boone almost every year and every time we are there, going to the Mast General store (particularly the candy section) is a must. It is so charming and really fun to walk through. The candy selection is excellent and fun.

Its a great place to go and enjoy the the candy area with all the different choices to choose from. The prices have truly gone up higher over the years on clothes where you can find cheaper at other places.

Great place for all ages! Take a step back in time with old fashioned candy barrels and games/toys from your childhood, plus so much more. Employees were very friendly. Enjoyed our visit.

Loved this place! And my kids loved all the candy!! There is an annex down the street that has TONS of different kinds of older candy that is hard to find now. There is a working OLDDDD post office in the store as well - with old post office boxes that DO NOT lock!! Crazy!!

Not sure why people have this listed as an attraction. It is a store. It is very cool because there is a lot of candy and old school toys that are nostalgic of when we were kids. But it's a store, not an attraction. I would suggest visiting it if you are in the area but don't plan on spending... More

We travel to the Boone area a couple of times a year and visiting Mast General Store has become a family tradition. My kids love the candy bins but also enjoy seeing all of the "old school" toys and games that I played with many years ago. Its worth the time to walk through, even if you don't plan on... More

Worth the drive to visit... Their candy store down the road has alot of type candies I grew up with. Nice place to visit. Ate lunch across the road from the store, food was good but a little pricey.
