Helpful staff, friendly and great snowboarding school. Was not crowded when we visited in March, but still good snow on the slopes. Would recommend for families and those wanting a smaller mountain. We would definitely return.

If you are a beginner skiier or want to get your kids in ski school, this is a great place for you. Pros: We liked the fact that it is small so no need for walkie-talkies and worrying about getting separated from your group, etc. Well organized and friendly staff. Good rental equipment. Easy to get to. Closest ski resort... More

This was our first ski trip as a family (4 and 7 year old children). My kids and I had never skied before, so we signed up for lessons. I made reservations for the children for the Ski Wee program on Friday (2 hrs in the morning, break for lunch, and then met again for 2 hrs in the afternoon).... More

My wife had a great time learning how to ski. They had her on the slopes after a 1 hr session. We liked the beginner friendly atmosphere, flex time tickets and no long lines during the week. Only complaints we really had is that there is no outdoor seating, no going Outside to watch without a lift ticket, leaving your... More

My husband and I skied with our son and family last night. We are from the Adirondacks in New York. Our son's family have season passes. Our grandsons have learned to ski at this area. This is a classy, we'll run area. From the minute you drive in the parking lot, you get the feeling of a great place. Thanks... More

If you have never skied before, you can go to Appalachian Ski Mountain, and they will rent you absolutely everything you need, including ski bibs, goggles, helmets, gloves, and jackets ( not to mention the full line of ski or snowboard gear, including boots, skis or snowboard, and poles). We were there, apparently on the busiest day of the year,... More

AppSkiMtn is clean, friendly, and easy. The easy in and easy out, friendly staff make this the best choice in the high country.

My son traded his surfboard in for a snowboard when we moved here from Florida last year. After two visits to App Ski Mtn last year (the first included lessons with French Swiss, the on site school), he decided he wanted to get serious about snowboarding. Only being 11, he saved for a season pass because he was excited App... More

My 16 yr old son's Boy Scout troop planned a trip to this resort this past Sunday (the 9th). His troop had been there before, but he had not been able to go. They got a great group rate on the ski or snowboarding package which include the rental of equipment, lessons, & ski lift ticket. My son wanted to... More
