We were there last weekend, and had a fun time. All employees were so friendly. Food average, but kids don't care about that! Train ride was fun, but sit on the right hand side, to see the cowboy show. I would recommend. more

Our family enjoyed the Tweetsie Railroad very much. Once you get passed the admission price, you see that you are getting a nice family amusement park, without the lines and crowds that they others have. No huge rollercoasters, so the teen crowd might not enjoy, but the 12 and under set will have a fun time. My 11 yo loved... more

Love - Love - Love it. So much fun. Good old fashion fun for the entire family. We have been going since my son was five and he is now eight. Getting ready to go again. My husband went when he was nine - and he is now in his 50's. I cannot say enough about it. Try it -... more

Okay, I have to admit that my 3-year-old had a good time (mostly). However, my husband and I were very uncomfortable with the Wild West theme--lots of toy weapons (and other junk) for sale, glorification of violence, and totally disrespectful and dehumanizing attitudes toward Native Americans. The main attraction--the train ride--is marred by a couple of poorly written and acted... more

Great for children. Adults very little for us. Train ride was nice. Park was very clean and had a lot of restrooms. There was nothing bad about the park, just gear to children without the big theme park hassle . more

I have been visiting Tweetsie Railroad since I was a little kid back in the 1960s. The place has grown but only within reason. It is one of America's old style theme parks where fun is guaranteed, you won't have to wait in line, and prices won't break the bank. The park is clean and well maintained and folks are... more

The train was great fun and my eight year old son can't wait to return for Halloween. The shows were good and the entertainers seemed to be actually enjoying their work unlike the people at other amusement parks. The train rides were worth the cost of admission for us. My son couldn't ride that train enough. The carnival rides were... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Tweetsie! Prior to ariving at Tweetsie we had been in Atlanta at Six Flags over Georgia. I was a little fearful that the rides would be too mundane for our thrill seeking 6 year old. But she loved it! We chose the date because Thomas the Tank Engine was to be there. We purchased... more

The staff is friendly, the park is fun for adults and kids. Don't go in expecting Disney World, just go have a good time. We went for the Ghost Train festival and it was great, took our 4 year old and he's still talking about it. I really hope they can get together on the lease and keep this park... more

Small but well kept 49 year old amusement park the first in NC. Was there 8-13-2005 and my wife and I had a wonderful time. This would be a real nice park for kids but we enjoyed it. It is reasonably priced for an amusement park and enough to keep you interested the whole time they are open. There is... more
