This is a legeon among steam railroad affectionatoes! I've wanted to go here for years and finally had the opportunity as I was staying nearby. The park was packed with families having lots of fun! Both steam engines are kept in beautiful condition with their brass over green boilers. There are lots of fun rides for kids of all ages,... More

My family and I experienced Tweetsie Railroad for the first time back in the '90s. On this visit, My wife and I took our grands and they had a ball. If you could have seen the joy on their faces as my granddaughter rode the ferris wheel and my grandson riding the tea cup by themselves. They seem to feel... More

As I grew up in North Carolina, I saw the TR commercial many times over. I know the song/jingle by heart. I live in Australia but while visiting NC recently, decided to FINALLY go to the Tweetsie RR. It was FUN FUN FUN!!! We had a really good time and ended up spending most of the day there. The entry... More

This is very good for kids as the shows, food, souvenirs, etc. are geared for small children. There is a petting zoo, kiddie rides and gift shops with children in mind. There's not much for adults if you don't have children but they will enjoy it. Our granddaughter enjoyed gem mining and having her face painted (at extra costs). We... More

Good for young kids, very theme oriented. Not so great about 10 and up but ok to stroll through. If you like cowboys and trains it is a great experience.

Great place for families with little kids. Rides are mostly kiddie rides, and the Tweetsie train ride is fun, but I do wish they would make it serious and about Cowboys and Indians, and not other stuff. It borderlines silly. All in all it is good for small kids

This is definitely a place you need to use your GPS to find because there is no advertisement before you get there. If it is not for younger kids, I would not really waste my time. It's more like an expensive carnival but very clean.

Tweetsie seems so much smaller than I remember but its been over 35 years since I visited. A bit over priced for what they have to offer, the park isn't very big. The kids loved it, so that's all the mattered!!
