There isn't much there, but it was fun. We saw the shows, which weren't great, and rode the two trains. It ended up being about a five hour day. We probably won't go again .

I had been to Tweetsie years ago and found that it was a little better than now. I guess if you have small children they would enjoy more than teenagers or adults as it seems to be geared more for small children. The shows were ok nothing to really brag about. The train ride was ok and the skit they... More

Plus we could take dogs and they are even allowed on the train though not in stores or on other rides.

My husband and I took our 3 children (ages 12, 5, & 4) to Tweetsie this past Sunday. We arrived around 10 and were still able to park in the upper parking lot which is very close to the entrance. The kids had a blast! Our previous trips to Tweetsie had been to see Thomas and the park was much... More

I visited Tweetsie Railroad as a child and loved the atmosphere. I recently visited with my 2 children age 10. While they enjoyed the morning at the park it was geared more towards younger aged children. I would plan on half a day and definately take the train ride.

My son is 3 years old and he had a wonderful time. There's plenty to do for children of all ages and thankfully, the vast majority of it is included in the price of admission. They were adequately staffed and everyone was very friendly. The park was very clean and well kept. I've lived in NC for the vast majority... More

Spent a foggy Saturday with my family at Tweetsie. Loved the train ride and "show"! Almost no lines at any of the rides, so my daughter was able to ride as much as she wanted. We want to go back at Halloween for the Ghost Train and Christmas for the Polar Express.

Visited Tweetsie with son and he just loved everything about it. The train ride, the go-carts, the rides, the horses and wagons for picture-taking, the candy store and gift shop (where he purchased a cap gun and sheriff's badge), the funnel cake and lemonade stands! He had an amazing time! Something different, and I'm sure we will go back!

This attraction hasn't changed in 30 years and that is not bad. Little ones love this place but it is less appealing to the older age group. Fun place to spend a morning!

We had 3.5 hrs to burn here and on a Wednesday in August we did just about everything (some rides a few times) except we did not watch any shows. We did do the main train attraction. That being said there were no lines to speak of and we move pretty darn fast. The 8 yr old had a great... More
