Took my 2 year old to Tweetsie as he loves trains. They have a nice big train that goes around the park and has a few comical stops. A few warnings though: 1. Wear sunglasses. The train is a coal burning train so flecks of the coal can get in your eyes, makes for an unhappy kid. 2. The first... More

I used to go to Tweetsie Railroad when I was a child, this Tweetsie is not what I remember at all. It would have been nice to buy a separate ticket for the chain ride only, as my husband & I weren't interested in the rest of the kid friendly park.

We went labor day weekend. Family of 4 (parents with 8yr old and 3yr old). The weather was nice. We rode the train twice and saw different things each time. Never stood in line for rides or food more than a couple of minutes. Would go again!

A must for families to entertain the kids. A steep climb to the park from the parking lot. Train rides run regularly. Try to get the left side of car 3 (the side opposite the park entrance) since that is where you get the best view of the entertaining skits that are acted out along the train ride. A note... More

This place is nice if you with a toddler or maybe up to 4. Its nice if you take advantage of the afternoon and all day with one ticket. The park is kept in good shape, they are concerned to keep it clean and staff is very kind and polite, they are nice with little ones. My son had a... More

We had a great day at Tweetsie Railroad! My kids are ages 3 & 6; they both had a great time. Tweetsie had a good mix of rides for both of their ages. We went on a Friday and the park was not very crowded; we didn't have to wait in any lines. If you go, make sure to catch... More

Took a trip to Tweetsie with my sister, her kids and my two. (Ages 15, 10, 10 and 6) We arrived on a Saturday to find the parking lot about 3/4 full. I usually avoid places like this on weekends, because I hate crowds. It was busy, but not unbearably so. It was a short hike to the main entrance,... More

We took our kids to Tweetsie, and now we take our grand children. It is a fun day out, with the park centered on attractions for the young kids. They love the rides, and lines never seem long here. There are also shows, but our kids/grandkids never sit still long enough to watch them. There is also a petting zoo... More

There isn't much there, but it was fun. We saw the shows, which weren't great, and rode the two trains. It ended up being about a five hour day. We probably won't go again .

I had been to Tweetsie years ago and found that it was a little better than now. I guess if you have small children they would enjoy more than teenagers or adults as it seems to be geared more for small children. The shows were ok nothing to really brag about. The train ride was ok and the skit they... More
