I've been coming to Price Park for over 20 years. It's a great place to camp, picnic, canoe, and hike. The 4.9 mile trail is stunning. Plenty of area for kids and adults to play ball and have a great time.

We hiked, with our dog, around the lake. It was a nice hike with some views of the lake. We ate our lunch overlooking the lake. It was a nice way to spend the afternoon.

My husband, myself and our 2 kiddos made an impromptu stop at the canoe rental stand to try our hand at family rowing in a rented canoe. It was alot of fun but we quickly learned that 2 out of 4 of us are scared of canoes. We rowed around for around 10 minutes before "someone" :) had all they... More

The 5 mile loop trail that leaves from the picnic area at Julian Price Park is not to be missed. The foot path takes you up and down through the woods. You will cross stream beds and bubbling brooks and love every minute of it. Bring a bathing suit and a picnic and enjoy the natural pools. Hiking shoes are... More

It was SUPER packed when we were there, but there was still enough park to go around. Very lovely hiking trails of all levels!

Great hiking trails and awesome fishing! Although the snakes were out because of the heat, this place was beautiful. We spent at least 2 days here and the fog would come andd go giving beautiful views of the lake and surounding mountains!

This is one of my favorite parks on the Parkway, lots of great camp sites, fishing on the lake & creek, hiking on the Tannawah & Boone Fork Trails, renting a canoe, picnics with family, sitting by the fire in the camp ground...

Hebron Colony Falls is a waterfall that flows over Hebron Rock Colony, a field of huge boulders on Boone Fork. It used to be possible to access this area from a short trail along Old Turnpike Road. Some books and websites still describe this route, but it is now illegal. DO NOT PARK on Old Turnpike Road or you will... More

We hiked this trail while it was raining and barely got wet. The foliage is very think around the well-worn trail. It made for a very enjoyable hike. The path is pretty flat and easy to follow. It was a nice, relaxing morning hike.

We are in blowing Rock every year. The park is our favorite place for a good walk before we begin our evening. There are 2 swans that are so beautiful and fun to watch. It's a beautiful lake with a great hiking trail that leads off the lake trail. Go for a walk any time of the day. It's really... More
