U-352 Weekend

This review is long overdue. Went out to dive the U-352, had a great dive the first day. Did an hour run on the U-352, and about the same on the Indra. The staff was very polite... read more

I can’t say little enough about Discovery Diving. That's what happens when I'm extremely ticked off. My wife and I are getting back into diving after about ten years off. Although equipment is fundamentally the same as when I was certified in 1980, much of the technology has changed since we were last in the water. Because of this, we... More

This review is long overdue. Went out to dive the U-352, had a great dive the first day. Did an hour run on the U-352, and about the same on the Indra. The staff was very polite and helpful (or as much help as any Tech / Rebreather diver really wants) did not have much interaction with the shop. Second... More

As a seasoned diver, this dive operation was well-run and safety-minded, and their captains know the area exceedingly well. This was my second season diving with Discovery Diving, and I may do it again with them next year,

I was the Group Leader for a few people that went out on the Sea Quest II to the Indra. It's a great Wreck for both new and experienced divers. The people at Discovery Diving are fantastic. They make it easy to check-in, and help in any way possible (using trollies to take tanks and weights to the boat). The... More

I have gone diving with discovery 2 years in a row. The first year we took out a small boat, had pretty good weather and dove two days with two wrecks each. I particularly enjoyed the aeolus with the circling sharks. This year we did not get as lucky with weather. The first day we dove 2 sites, the first... More

My boyfriend and I dove with Discovery Divers while visiting my sister at the recommendation of my brother in law. We absolutely loved them and will be back for more dives. We have only dove in Mexico and the Caribbean before, so NC was completely foreign to us. They did an awesome job easing us in. We stopped in the... More

I have dealt with this dive shop for over 20 years. From dive training to service of my equipment, they are excellent. Always a friendly smile, they will go the extra mile to help you. I have even had my repairs dropped off at my office by a staff member that lives near by. I have never been on a... More

I have been diving all over the world and all over North Carolina, but I keep coming back to Discovery Diving. The crew both in the shop and on the dive boats are amazing. They are friendly and efficient. Every detail - from the booking, to getting good tank fills, to making sure passengers safely enter and exit the water... More

From DC, this destination provides great offshore diving. I like diving the boats out of Discovery Diving. The weather and waves can be tricky with offshore diving. The Captains are experienced and will pick the best dives they can which provide both fun and safety (not only do you have to get off the boat, you have to get back... More

Three of us made the drive down to Beaufort NC for a long weekend of diving. Dive shop easy to find off the main drag. Staff working in the shop quickly checked us in to the dive lodge, more on that later, checked C-cards and completed paperwork. Staff was professional, yet laid back, and answered all of our questions. After... More
