Our guide seemed to be in a wee bit of hurry and hurried us along a bit faster than we would have liked. We thought it would be a leisurely stroll not a race. Seeing Blackbeard's home and the cemetery were the best parts!

For $15 per person, this was a fun way to see Beaufort, hear some of its history, see the quieter parts of the neighborhoods, and have a sprinkling of ghost/mystery stories throughout. We were a group of adults with two teens and grandparents in their late 60's. The teens loved our guide and he did a good job of talking... More

This was a heck of a good tour. The guide was clever, funny and just generally entertaining. The history of Beaufort was relayed complete with any resident ghosts that may or may not show up for the tour. Now, this is not a Ghost Adventures tour. I read a bunch of the reviews and it seems to me that people... More

This was a fun tour for our teenagers, and for the adults too. My mother-in-law has some difficulty walking long distances due to breathing problems but she never complained, she enjoyed it too. My husband and I thought it was nice, it was a relaxing walk for us because the tour guide kept our kids enthralled. Pirate stories and ghost... More

Let me just say that in a time when the economy is not great You want to get the most for your money. This tour should be the best in the area because of the history of this beautiful historic fishing village but it is the worst! Wilmington and New Bern are packed with Ghostly tales for around $10.00. This... More

A lot of walking around but never to anywhere that there were reported ghostly activity, except for the cemetery at the end. The guide was much too full of himself, taking away time for stories by trying to be cool for the adolescents in the group who where not at all impressed. Definitely NOT worth the price or the time.

The Beaufort Ghost Walk is going to be a favorite memory of visiting the Crystal Coast. Our pirate guide was informative, entertaining and very approachable. The nighttime walk in historic Beaufort was really interesting, and the time spent at the Old Burying ground was good & spooky. We took several digital pictures there and caught a few 'spirit orbs" in... More

This walking tour was pretty good. I did one in Williamsburg Virginia years ago that was better (longer with more stories) but what set this tour apart was our great pirate guide. We were first scheduled for a Wednesday walk but due to an approaching storm and lightening, our walk was abandoned. We returned the next night and had the... More

This was an interesting and fun tour of Beaufort. Our guide met us at the designated area in downtown Beaufort and took us on a walking tour on the area. She was an engaging storyteller (her Bristish accent made it even more spellbinding) who held my interest as well as that of my 11 year old nephew. Even though I... More

An excellent tour! I enjoy it every time I go on it! While the pirates add character and charm, Beaufort's ghost and historic stories are worth the price alone. This is not a tour where someone jumps out at you, so when you see or capture something strange, you can believe it's authenic or "paranormal". I recommend this tour to... More
