West Point should be on your list of places to visit in the Hudson River Valley. The town of West Point is very small, and the visitors center is a little hard to find but worth it. In the visitor’s center, they have lots of exhibits on West Point, the life of cadets, what they do and how to get... More

This is a great place to visit even if you are not into history. There are magnificent views of the Hudson from different vantage points, and you get to see where our countrys military leaders have been trained from the time of Jefferson. The only way for the public to visit is to book a tour with the local company.... More

We enjoyed the tour of West Point. You purchase your tickets at the visitors center, board a bus, and tour the academy. We had a great tour guide and the weather was perfect. We loved seeing the Hudson River on such a sunny day!

I graduated from the Military Academy and my memories include many winter days when the cold wind seemed to come down the river directly from the North Pole! My wife on the other hand thinks that the view from Trophy Point is one of the most beautiful on earth. I must agree with my wife (except for those winter days).

Not only are you visiting an historic location in the US, you are also visiting the place where the people who made the history started their careers. The campus is beautiful, tucked into the edge of the Hudson River. The people are wonderful, service is their forte!

What a beautiful trip! We were there for a reunion for my husband that graduated 30 years ago. The grounds are beautiful. We watched the Saturday morning viewing parade before the football game and it was breath taking!

Got to see the cadets gathering for lunch and marching into the mess hall. beautiful campus, amazing history and lovely... More

This is THE place to get in touch with your American roots. Very nostalgic and a lot of history. Just took the short tour but even though been there for a couple of Army football games I enjoyed the history and the scenic views of the Hudson River and the cadets roaming around on a Sunday afternoon. You feel good... More
