The United States Military Academy at West Point is a location full of history. As you walk the pathways, you will hear echos of George Washington and many other of our country's leaders that walked here before you. Amazing 19th century construction and views of the Hudson River. Do not miss Constitution Island.

There s no other place like it. Most of the cadets you see will be involved in some sort of combat. Gets your attention, doesn't it.

Make sure you make reservations and pay online before arriving. We chose a tour that included both walking and being on a bus. The history and tradition of this military academy is a credit to our country and the men & women who serve while getting a A+ education.

Great visit - Just do it! Privileged to visiting West Point and to be walking in the footsteps of: Grant, Lee, Douglas MacArthur, Omar Bradley, Dwight Eisenhower, Norman Schwarzkopf et al. Fort West Point's role in US History dates back to the Revolutionary War, when both sides realized the strategic importance of the commanding plateau on the west bank of... More

As a retired Navy grad, it's probably surprising that this place eluded me for so long. Having been there, I must admit that it's extremely impressive on every level. The architecture, the history, the views, and the military culture will all leave an indelible impression upon your mind and heart. I recommend as much of a full day as possible... More

West Point Military Academy is a truly beautiful place. There is so much history and tradition here. It is something everyone should see. The setting along the Hudson River is beautiful. We were here for a college visit so we got to see the entire campus. It was amazing.

The most beautiful of the Service Academies bar none. The grounds are a site to behold from the Hudson up to the cliffs and surrounding mountains. Buildings of granite and the Plain where the Cadets march. This is a place to wander around or take a tour. Have lunch at the Thayer. enjoy.

If you ever have the change and a few hours make the trip to visit the academy and museum. Booking online via West Point Tours is very easy. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and learned a lot.
