Having my son as a Plebe (freshman) at West Point this year, I have been to the USMA 5x in the past year and a half and it never gets old to me. It is so magical, full of history and overall prestigious, that it almost feels surreal when I'm there. I know for the cadets who go there, it... More

Take time to explore and enjoy this beautiful, historic campus. The tour we took from the visitor center was well worth the time and the modest price.

A visit to West Point should increase any citizen's appreciation for the young men and women who go through the grueling process to become Army officers. A rigorous education, together with the physical requirements and leadership training, make the USMA an amazing institution. The Visitors Center includes exhibits on cadet life. The site on the Hudson River was selected by... More

If possible, call ahead for a reservation for a tour. At the Visitor Center, you can read about what cadets experience during their 4 years and see a display of a cadet's room. Our tour guide knew a lot about West Point and its history. She talked about what life is like for the cadets and shared personal stories. At... More

My cousin, my mom and I came to explore. We started in the Visitor's Center. We learned about the Academy's strict standards for admission. We saw some cadets on the grounds. I thought that the whole experience was educational, and it gave me an insight on the strict training that makes a civilian become a cadet in the Army.

For history buffs, military families, patriots, interested sightseers....West Point Academy is a must see experience! Based along the Hudson River, it's history dates back to President Washington as a strategic vantage point to protect US territory. The cathedrals, chapels, campus, and cemetaries of important historic American figures is incredible and well worth taking the 2 hour bus tour. Some of... More

We started at the Visitor Center and got a map and some good advice. We drove thru the Academy and stopped at most of the interesting areas; especially Trophy Point. Parking was adequate after 3:30 PM and lots of walking required

One of the few places left on earth that gives me the chills. Knowing who has walked that campus and gone on to greatness is awesome. It is an absolute bucket list item if you haven't been there!

Historic landmark steeped in our nations history. Trophy Point is also used for evening concerts in the summer as the amphitheater.
