We visited the U.S. Military Academy on a Monday morning. We drove through security, parked our car at Buffalo Soldier Field parking and caught a ride with the bus. We had a fabulous tour, and then spent some time walking around West Point ourselves. It was a great experience, we will definitely be going back soon!

Loved our visit to USMA. Tours are available and vey informative . The grounds are lovely I would highly encourage taking the bus tours as the walking can be difficult for tose with older travelers or those with any lower joint issues.

Dripping with interesting history and culture. Enjoy a tour of the famous Cemetery, a walk amongst the buff cadets, or a Friday-night concert in the summer. Will make you proud to be an American.

Historic surroundings with amazing beauty. You just have to see this place to really appreciate its relevance to our nations survival. From George Washingtons appointing it as the first Army garrison it has been the center for advanced military leadership training of our military officers for over 200 years.

Makes you proud to be an American. The history of the Point and the accomplishments of its graduates are quite impressive. We took a guided tour (West Point Tours) which was informative and hit the highlights. Would suggest the 2 hour tour.

Beautiful old buildings in a country setting looking out over the River. You get to see the future leaders of our military. Park your car and walk around. There is a lot of history to see.

My husband and I had a couple of extra hours before we had to be in NYC to catch our plane, so we decided to schedule a tour of West Point. One thing that was appealing to us was that it was mostly a bus tour, unlike the Naval Academy tour that is 2 hours on foot. Our tour guide,... More

A neat place to see history. Build on orders from G. Washington the history is everywhere. The buildings are unique and on a beautiful day nice to walk around. Views of the Hudson river are awesome.

Our group was met by our tour guide who told us a lot about the campus. We visited the Cadet Chapel, the parade grounds and wandered the campus. We were also lucky enough to have a special tour to see the barracks and the dining hall since school was out and only a few cadets were on campus. Amazingly, none... More

So much history to see here. If you are in the area, be sure to take a trip to West Point. You can take a tour which I highly recommend so that you learn of all it's wonderful history.
