Not only does the United States of America find the beating heart of is founding principles and values at West Point, but America's Academy is also a great and fun place to visit, especially to watch cadet athletes engage in sports against rivals on the fields of friendly strife. The Army Football home game experience is the best in the... More

My husband and I attended an Army game so first about the stadium. The stadium is a no fluff straight up not well signed place - but that's ok. The big screen and the sound systems along with the paratroopers that grace the field pregame are the focal points. Take a few to walk and drive the campus because it... More

What can you say? This is ground zero if you are into American Military History at all. Visited with a personal tour from my daughter who is stationed there. The history is incredible from Military Generals to Presidents who have passed through here dating back to civil war days and before. Do yourself a favor and buy a guide book... More

I left my youth here and have never needed it since. This is a place that is as much heart and soul as it is stone and mortar.

This is a great campus to visit. We did not take a tour but drove in and walked around on our own. The stone buildings are interesting and I felt like we could get a "feel" of the military academy just through the building architecture. Obviously trophy point and the cadet chapel are some of the highlights, but the whole... More

So much to say. President Jefferson in 1802 signed the act that approved the establishment of the United States Military Academy. So much history. General Washington had his headquarters here during the revolutionary war; Benedict Arnold, an American General, tried to sell the defensive plans of West Point to the British. The Hudson River does two 90 degree turns here... More

We did the one hour tour through West Point Tours. It was fantastic. We regretted not doing the two hour tour. The Museum is very well done and very interesting. Learning the history of West Point, some of the famous people that have gone through there and becoming familiar with what the cadets do today was so impressive and so... More

This is simply an awesome institution and something to see. The architecture is beautiful and the setting is stunning. It's great to see the young cadets scurrying from class to class in their dress uniforms, or running along the roads in the training uniforms but wandering among the many statues along the Hudson River one realizes the significance of the... Went to my nephew's West Point graduation. This place is amazing!! Of course the weather was cold and rainy, but it didn't take away from West Point. It is stunning.
