A very good mix of experiences, including geology, sea life, sights and fast boating. Snorkelling was also on offer Great way to spend 2 hours and the hosts were engaging and helpful. The unique glass bottom was good, while it would have been better if there were more varieties of fish to see! Definitely worth a trip.

While we found it a stimulating and fun tour - the swim at the end was lovely, so WARM! - It would have been nice to see more wildlife through the glass bottom! We were shown a marine reserve, maybe longer in there would have yielded more fish sightings (despite my better judgement I decided I needed to see a... More

Small shaded boat with great crew Mark and Sandra. Wonderful couple of hours viewing the coast of the Coramandel Peninsula from the sea. Could imagine what it was like for the first travellers to these shores. The scenery is spectacular. The boat moves fast so if you get sea sick it is not for you, for others it is exhilarating.... Read all the reviews for a boat cruise to see Cathedral Caves and we decided on Glass Bottom Boat. Sure glad we did. Rose and Joe were inviting from the moment you stepped on the boat. They made sure everyone was comfortable and aware of all the safety features. Then they took us on a wonderful tour of the area.... More

Great Maori Skipper with deep knowledge of the coast and sea! Beautiful tour guide looking after us, knowing all fish, great diver - loved to see her beneath the boat. Need to mention the Office staff - friendly and supportive, just brilliant.

The trip should have lasted 2 hours but we were informed it would be 1 and a half hour trip due to weather conditions. The price was altered accordingly. The glass bottom is covered in a metal covering for most of the journey and only raised when stationary near one of the coves were people were able to swim and... More
