If you've been to Whitianga and haven't been to the Lost Springs then you need to go there on your next visit. Relaxing peaceful and a little bit of luxury. Where else can you lie back in natural thermal spring water and have some one serve you drinks and it fells like your in a tropical rain forest. I haven't... More

These thermal pools were really enjoyable, a lovely way to spend an hour or two at, rainy or sunny. it is all outdoor, and the many hot pools are neat and relaxing, though there is plenty of area to swim around in. The covered grotto pools are lit and lovely to see. Cocktails are delivered right to you in the... More

This place was recommended to us and I'm passing it on. Yes it is expensive but for an adults only retreat it was worth the money. We loved the ambiance, you could have been in Bali and the service is A1. Make a point to find it and give yourself a treat.

I felt like I d ventured away to a pacific paradise at a fraction of the cost. Gardens, facilities and service are great. I didn't try the spa (quite expensive) but had a fabulous time soaking, venturing out in between soaks with our all day pass. Next time

Love this place had an hour long massage, very relaxing then back in the pool drinking cocktails which are served to you in the water. Had lunch in the restaurant, my daughter enjoyed hers but mine was disappointing.

We love this place :) We pick a weekend when we can and drive a couple of hours just to go there :) Then drive home again :) Get a day pass, then you can come and go as you please, not that we leave once we are there, until closing time. The staff really are very lovely :) The... More

Booked this day out as a de-stress after a very busy planning period for our North Island Endurance Championships. Booked in with 3 other females and treated ourselves to an hour long massage in the day spa. Highly recommend! Did not want to get out of the water, found it the most relaxing day out. The water was just the... More

This is a hidden luxury swimming pool and spa in suburban Whitianga. Any get away weekend should include the Lost Spring but make sure you have saved for it. The surroundings are lovely, the pools totally inviting, water temperature is compulsive (you never want to get out) and the availability of meals and liquor served into the pool is great.... More
