Tropical gardens with palms and hibiscus and thermal pools make the place feel very much like the tropics. The water is lovely and there are a range of different temperature pools. There is a cafe and poolside bar service, it would be very easy to settle in for the day. I just wish they didn't have music playing everywhere! Or... More

The water is lovely and the surroundings delightful. The pools are set amid beautiful gardens , there are pools of varying temperature , poolside service if you need it. We didn't use the spa facilities but they looked good too. A little bit of heaven !

Whitianga is a beautiful place to begin with, but if you're looking for that extra bit of luxury, head to The Lost Spring. The biggest draw for me, or the thing that will make me return, is the incredibly easy access to refreshments. Waiters walk around the shallow portions of the pools taking orders. We managed to down 4 piña... More

We arrived intending to have a relaxing swim then head off somewhere for lunch. We did not leave till 5:30pm!!!! We spent the morning swimming around in the different pools and relaxing. We had a wonderful lunch and some lovely cocktails overlooking the main pool area. We then headed back to the pools, and around 4:00pm I had a spa... More

The Lost Spring is just a few minutes out of town, simple to reach even on foot. There are a few different pools with different temperatures and creative surroundings. It's a really nice and peaceful place to relax and kick back, aided by the "adults only" policy. Whitianga offers so many things to do, most of them action packed and... More

On recommendation of others we visited the "Springs". The environment is peaceful and relaxing and the three "springs" to choose from leaves you spoilt with choice.

Soak up the warm waters in this themed oasis, Waiters are on hand to serve you cocktails and drinks in the pool! There are several different pools all with varying temperatures. There are also treatments available. A very neat day out.

So to be honest this isn't my normal type of thing. Got there early and only three other people in the pool. So relaxing. Whilst not huge the pools are well designed and a bit of temperature variety. Didn't check out the food or treatments but all looked good. Definitely would go back.

Visited January 2016. Quiet, adult 'polynesian' atmosphere in residential area of Whitianga. Not cheap and would have preferred unlimited stay but no question about the quality of the facilities.

The service was amazing, the no kids policy was great because it meant we could just relax and not be bugged by children. The springs has different tiers for different temperatures, the higher you go the higher the temperature. Its completely set out like a tropical island with a bar to serve drinks while you swim.
