I decided to book a Short Stay Combo for my husband and myself as a treat for our 25th wedding anniversary. It was a very relaxing and wonderful thing to do. We had our swim first and was fascinated by how the place had been designed and how well it fitted into the natural looking surroundings. We had one of... More

I'm glad I checked this place out, but it really is quite expensive. I stayed for hours to get my money's worth so I was able to gauge the level of service quite well. Often the staff were absent and had to be hunted down to place a drink order (which defeats the purpose when you want to stay in... More

My friend and I spent an afternoon of bliss here. What a gem for Whitianga, a slice of pacific paradise in the heart of Whitianga - didn't even have to board a plane!! Started with lunch - absolutely delicious, prompt service and a very reasonable price. We were sitting on a lovely terrace in the sun overlooking the tranquil setting,... More

Lost spring is absolutely awesome place to visit. It is really as going to Fiji or Hawaii without a plane. Sins it has been open, we are coming here ones a year at least to enjoy that little hidden place. Fill relaxed, spoiled and special each time. Really has nothing to complain about. Special thanks to Alan Hopping the owner... More

Great spa…a little expensive, but a nice treat for a short holiday. Food and drink service a little slow at times, but manager was more than apologetic and offered an extension on spa time to compensate - all in all a lovely vist.

I love the idea of this place but to be honest, unless there is a special on or a 2 for 1 deal, I will not be back, it's not worth the price tag. $35 each for an hour is very pricey, plus extra for lockers, towels, robes etc. especially when Rotorua and Taupo are not that far away with... More

Had a great time at Lost Spring and would definitely come back - would have thought it would be busier than it was but a very nice tidy and clean facility

Imagine this! Relaxing in natural spring mineral pools (in sunshine after several days of rain) followed by a yummy brunch beside the pool.

I visited The Lost Spring with friends late one afternoon. Absolutely beautiful surroundings and very relaxing. Stayed until the sun went down and enjoyed cocktails in the hot pools. Couldn't recommend it more - it was fantastic.
