Owner description: Gabriel Chocolate is Western Australia's first bean-to-bar chocolate maker. We import the world's best cacao beans and turn them into "single-origin" chocolate bars at our Yallingup chocolate gallery, coaxing out the wide range of natural flavours that emerge from the different cacao bean varieties. Taste the latest range of chocolate bars being made, and sit inside or outside near the grass at Gabriel Cafe to indulge in one of our decadent hot chocolates, salted chocolate chip cookies or hand-made, chocolate-dipped ice-creams.

Wow, I drive an hour every couple of weeks to buy heaps of the best chocolate I've ever had at Gabriel Chocolate. It is so good, I am now a chocolate mule for a number of my chocolate loving friends in Augusta. Nothing else matters about this destination. It's about the chocolate. And, it just so happens that it's a... More

I didn't realise that I knew so little about chocolate, I feel a little more educated now. Lots of samples helped me find the chocolate that I really liked and displays helped in understanding the origins of the various pods. A must for chocolate lovers. While you are there try a hot chocolate too-cocoa will never taste the same again.

Car tripping in the area, came across this very interesting establishment. An excellent selection of chocolate products and educational displays on cacao. Knowledgeable staff. We enjoyed hot chocolate, iced mocha and chocolate cookies. All very rich and satisfying. Worth a visit for that refreshment break.

Visited on a weekday in November. This place is more chocolate shop, with the different varieties of cocoa and chocolate shown on the walls, and available to taste. There is a cafe behind which serves drinks, ice cream and cake. The chocolate ice cream was absolutely divine and fully worth it. One thing I would have liked to see here... More

My sister and I stopped at Gabriel's in April while we were touring the Margaret River area. Our focus was wineries of course, but as we were passing by we decided to stop in and are so glad that we did. We enjoyed the sampling of the high quality chocolate made in house from sources around the world. After our... More

I'm a fan of dark chocolate and this place nourished me :) I had a hot chocolate in house which was great, bought some chocolate home and bought the cocoa nibs. The nibs are absolutely exceptional! I bought a kilo and wish i bought more! They are 200 times richer in antioxidants than blueberries and taste fantastic! This place imports... More

The lady who greeted me and provided me with taste testings was so helpful and knowledgeable. I was recommended to go to Gabriel's by the owner of the B & B I was staying at in Margaret River and I am very glad I did. The chocolate is very addictive though ;)

lovely little place. Don't go there hungry whatever you do! After having lunch and some wine at the nearby wineries, pit stop here and indulge in some chocolate taste testing. Yummo!

Boutique producer of quality chocolate from fresh roasted beans. You can taste (and buy) the cocoa nibs which are chopped roasted beans. They're nutty and chocolatey but not sweet. Then there were 4 types of chocolate to taste from an extra-dark to different types of milk, all from different types of beans. It's hard to pick just one. Delicious!

What do Gabriel's tiny but merry band of workers snack on all the time? The nibs! 100% sugar-free pure crunchy chocolatey punch that keeps you perky enough to charge through that afternoon energy slump and yet somehow (honesty) manage to ward off hunger pangs. Hmm, these could be bad for business....! Oh and they're a favourite addition to muesli, smoothies, and... More

If you want REAL chocolate, then this is the place to go. No fillers and doesn't taste sickly sweet or 'waxy'. Staff is informative and friendly and chocolate can be sampled. You can note the differences in flavour and aroma from one country's bean to the next. It's like wine tasting, but with chocolate. All chocolate is beautifully packaged. There... More
