Description:

Gabriel Chocolate is Western Australia's first bean-to-bar chocolate maker....

Gabriel Chocolate is Western Australia's first bean-to-bar chocolate maker. We import the world's best cacao beans and turn them into "single-origin" chocolate bars at our Yallingup chocolate gallery, coaxing out the wide range of natural flavours that emerge from the different cacao bean varieties. Taste the latest range of chocolate bars being made, and sit inside or outside near the grass at Gabriel Cafe to indulge in one of our decadent hot chocolates, salted chocolate chip cookies or hand-made, chocolate-dipped ice-creams.

It was great to find a place that is actually making chocolate from scratch. Great service and generous tastings. Lots of info about the process and quite impressive selection of different flavours and different origins of cocoa. Very knowledgeable staff as well. We stopped for a coffee and cake, too, and bought about half the store afterwards, including a 99%... More

The chocolate was nice, the staff member friendly but like all chocolate makers of this caliber, it was very expensive. I'm not a huge chocolate eater but I like a little and did buy some but more because I'm polite rather than thinking it was outstanding.

A bit expensive but fantastic chocolate - even better than the Marg River Choc ones. Came in nicely in a nice gift set to give friends back home.

Gabriel’s Chocolate specialises in single source chocolate, which means that all the cocoa beans in any bar of chocolate come from the same country, so there’s beans from Venezuela, Peru, Ghana, and other countries. Crack open the nut and taste the bean smashed up noting its rather sharp, even acrid taste. Then move onto the various samples laid out on... More

Another must visit place south of Perth if you like your chocolate. Stopped in for a look see and taste of their fine chocolates which was truly worth the visit. The prices of the chocolate were a bit above what I'd pay for chocolate but were very nice. We had a hot chocolate each which again was truly for the... More

Was a very informative visit to hear about and see the map of where all the beans come from for the different variety of chocolate available. A small boutique shop and cafe with yummy sweets from cake to ice cream. Worth the visit.
