I first came here 20 years ago on my honeymoon, and remember enjoying my visit. This time around we had a number of children in tow, so it was a family outing. The children enjoyed being able to see and feed the birds, especially in the largest enclosure where birds are flying around you constantly. Some of the other cages... More

A wonderful place to take the family to for a good 2 hour outing to see the wonderful varieties of parrots, lorikeets, parakeets and all their cousins. Loved the place and my kids enjoyed the afternoon over there. The only damper was the telescope was not operational and refused to accept the dollar coins. But the Rainbow Jungle was worth... More

My son wanted to visit this place and I thought it wouldn't be that exciting but decided to take him. I had read that it was one of the best things to do in Kalbarri and laughed - how could it be when there are amazing beaches, river, gorges, great kayaking, fishing etc etc. But ... WOW. We spent a... More

With nine sections to walk through, including a large free flight area, this is one spot where you can see a wide variety of Australian and exotic birds. I found it a little run down and in need of some TLC, but the birds look very healthy, well loved, and cared for.

For anyone with even a passing interest in birds and bird life, you really cannot miss out on this attraction. The work they are doing is nothing short of excellent and inspiring. All of the aviaries are specifically designed to give the birds everything they need in terms of space and interest. The free flying aviary is particularly spectacular and... More

This place is obviously run by people who love birds. There are quite a few varieties of birds and about 8 different sections to walk through. The biggest downfall is that its really run down. The gardens aren't weeded (and not just from a nature perspective, they have weeds growing in them). The pond is full of slime and it... More

I've been to the Rainbow Jungle a few times ,years ago and had forgotten how wonderful it is. The kids loved it and the birds are beautiful. I ended up having a soft spot for Hamish who was an old smoocher from way back , although Cocky was a close second. Thoroughly recommended for those who want a cruisy bird... More

Very happy with this place. Huge premises and many species of parrots. The wslk through aviary is worth the entry fee all by itself.
