This is an interesting and informative tour. You learn about the strict regime of being a light house keeper and experience the inside of the lighthouse. The tour guide was friendly and explained the information in simple terms to ensure understanding by all. Children of all ages enjoyed the tour.

We attended with our 4 kids 16,11 & twin 9 y.olds. We were on the first tour of the day - only pur family & one other couple. Our tour guide - Liz- was extremely informative & was obviously quite passionate about the place. We bought a package 'above & below pass' then headed to the ngilgi caves - I... More

We took the lighthouse tour in the morning. The lighthouse keeper is very knowledgeable. On top of the lighthouse we can see the view of the Cape naturaliste 360 degrees. I think i recommend going to the Cape Leeuwin one as this lighthouse not so tall.

Thank you for your visit to Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse, I am pleased that you found the tour very informative. Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leeuwin Lighthouses both offer great experiences – Cape Leeuwin is incredibly tall, whereas many people love the fact that at Cape Naturaliste you need to climb just 59 steps to be rewarded with panoramic views of the... We only came to see the lighthouse and we're pleased they only charge a small amount to do that. Next time we may do the whole tour.

The light house tour, 30min, is the only way to get into the lighthouse. The views from the top are well worth the fairly steep climb. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. If you don't do the tour, there are also several walking trails to the bluffs overlooking the ocean that is good for the whale watching season.

Quick 30 minute tour of the light house. Good views over the area and great for whale watching. You can only get in the lighthouse with a tour. Several walking trails from the lighthouse are well worth it for the ocean views.

Make sure you leave time to walk to the whale watching platform - and look for (yep) - whales (in season) and gaze out to South Africa (not quite on the horizon!!)

I am glad that you enjoyed the views from the walk trails, despite not quite being able to see South Africa! Whale season at Cape Naturaliste runs from September – December, so you picked a wonderful time to pay us a visit. We hope you come back soon! Best wishes, Attractions Manager More

We spent a couple of hours doing some of the free walks around the lighthouse. There are beautiful views of the coast and lovely wildflowers. We saw whales passing at sea, and seals around the rocks. If we'd had a bit longer we would have walked down to Bunker Bay and had lunch or a coffee there. There is a... More
