This is a nice stop. If you like lighthouses you certainly won't be disappointed, as this one is in great shape and it couldn't be in a better location (except maybe Cape Leeuwin). However, what we like best were the three (?) very nice trails that meandered off through the bush. One, in particular, ended at the northern cliffs and... More

Thank you for this wonderful review, it seems that you had the perfect lighthouse experience! Whale-watching season (September – December) is a real highlight of the year for us, so it’s great that you were able to visit during this time. There are five walk trails around the lighthouse area in total, so I hope you get the chance to... More

I can't believe you actually have to pay to go inside the lighthouse! Hence we did not go in. If they need money to maintain the property, they would be better off with a gold coin donation box; they'd get a lot more visitors. Disappointed. Australian tourism at its best!

I’m sorry to hear that you were disappointed by the fees in place at the lighthouse. The $4 base walk and $14 guided tour fees are incredibly important to us, as they help us to preserve the history and heritage of the lighthouse and its grounds to ensure that they are open for visitors all year round. We are a... More

We were met by Leon for our guided tour which was amazing. It was a little overcast so we didn;t get such great views but I was still amazed by the amount of information given by Leon. Highly recommend the guided tour to the top.

The lighthouse is high on a hill (gentle walk up) so the actual lighthouse doesn't have many stairs inside to climb. The view from the top is great. Our guide Cath gave us a good amount of information and had a few corny lighthouse jokes to share 😃 Worth visiting (I am a lighthouse fan though).

It’s great to learn that you enjoyed your visit, especially as you are a seasoned lighthouse visitor! Each of our guides bring slightly different elements to the guided tours – I hope that the lighthouse jokes went down just as well when you shared them with friends! Didn't actually go to the lighthouse but tried out the walking trails. Had a lot of fun seeing the incredible views that the trail allows you to see. The whale watching platform at the end is a good place to chill out at the end and have something to eat or drink that you've carried down. Lots of parking and... More

It’s great to hear about your experience of the trails surrounding the lighthouse. The scenery along the coast is spectacular, and in future we would definitely recommend climbing the lighthouse to enjoy 360° views of the Indian Ocean and national park! Kind regards, Attractions Manager More

This was a fascinating insight into the work of a lighthouse keeper in days gone by. I always assumed it was an easy job, living in a free house in a pretty location ... how wrong was I? I wont tell as that would spoil it but go and visit and find out for yourself how hard they worked ...... More

This working lighthouse is at a very elevated area and therefore is a short building. The views at the top are beautiful. The tour guide was very knowledgeable on the history of the light house, it's technology and how it was manned in the past. Surrounding bush walks are very accessible ranging from very short to long walks with easy... More
