Didn't actually go to the lighthouse but tried out the walking trails. Had a lot of fun seeing the incredible views that the trail allows you to see. The whale watching platform at the end is a good place to chill out at the end and have something to eat or drink that you've carried down. Lots of parking and... More

This was a fascinating insight into the work of a lighthouse keeper in days gone by. I always assumed it was an easy job, living in a free house in a pretty location ... how wrong was I? I wont tell as that would spoil it but go and visit and find out for yourself how hard they worked ...... More

Very interesting visit to the lighthouse. It's a beautiful area and the walking trails nearby are a good spot to see whales occasionally. Definitely recommend!

This working lighthouse is at a very elevated area and therefore is a short building. The views at the top are beautiful. The tour guide was very knowledgeable on the history of the light house, it's technology and how it was manned in the past. Surrounding bush walks are very accessible ranging from very short to long walks with easy... More

We visited recently with my parents in their 70's and our 7 year old daughter. The tours are every 30 minutes so we didn't have to wait long. Cost very reasonable. Our guide was excellent, she told us lots of interesting information. The lighthouse was easy enough to climb up too as my father isn't very mobile but he managed... More

My partner and I did the sunset tour at 6:30 last night. We had champagne & nibbles on arrival and our tour guide Tod was fabulous. The sunset was truly spectacular. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip and a very romantic way to finish our trip to Western Australia.

What a beautiful experience! I am so pleased that you enjoyed tour with Tod and that Mother Nature put on a great sunset for you. I hope that you are both able to enjoy a return visit to Western Australia in future – we have many romantic places to explore! Kind regards, Attractions Manager More

The lighthouse is about 500m from the entry. The only way you can get close to it is to do a lighthouse tour. We went at 4pm and it was closed anyway. Costs money to do the tour.

Thank you for your review, and I’m sorry that you weren’t able to get up close to the lighthouse during your visit. We are open 9 – 5 daily, with the last tour scheduled for 4.30 every day. This is our busiest time of year, so it could be that the 4pm lighthouse tour was full on the day you... More
