We took the tour and were led by Emerald who gave us an interesting and informative tour. The lighthouse itself is quite small and not so high because it's on a hill. So it's great for older folks. This also means that each tour group is limited to 10 pax. You can also walk around the lovely grounds after that.... More

Being not on the "Margaret River" list, this lighthouse misses out on a lot of the tourist trade. This is good and bad. Good for people like me that doesn't like crowds or coaches, bad for the people trying to run this place. It's a great spot and very historic. It doesn,t need to be tall because it's on a... More

Had to pay just to walk to the lighthouse and then pay more to go inside and do the tour. There were three of us, the other two walked around the track and I paid and walked to the lighthouse. Not worth all of us paying. It is securely locked up inside a high fence and not terribly visible from... More

we only had time for a base walk so no enter to the lighthouse... $4 to do it I think it's about $8 to go on the tour we arrived 30 mins to late for the last tour of the day. So to be Fair I can't really say much else about it except it was built in 1903

Not the biggest or oldest lighthouse, but a nice simple one that has very interesting history brought to life by the guide. A fascinating insight as to how the lighthouse works mechanically, plus the men and the families behind it. Nice to look at and walk around, but going inside is the real thing to do so pay the bit... Skipped the lighthouse but took a walk on the walking trails. The scenery overlooking the ocean was so lovely. We met a couple of kangaroos along the way. Wild flowers were everywhere and the air was chilly but crisp and fresh. A few people were sitting on the rocks on the hill overlooking the waters, maybe trying to spot whales.... More

We booked our 'Above and Below' tour which also included the Ngilgi Cave - and loved it. If you don't do the tour - I can see how you might be unimpressed. It is after all - just a... More

This lighthouse is small and unimpressive by any standards, not worth going out of your way for and certainly not worth paying to visit. The only positive was a free jumping castle if you have kids which we don't. Not sure if that is a permanent feature or not.
