We always thought that we would have to travel as far as Canada to see Killer Whales but when we heard about the opportunity to see them in WA, we were stoked !! The Expedition tour run by Naturaliste Charters lived up to all expectations - yes we did have to journey out a way but that did not worry... More

but......we were unable to flush the toilet....really horrible.....and the tap in the hand basin was corroded and rusted and did not work. One unfortunate staff member was very busy with a bucket of sea water:) I wrote to the company complaining and was told that they had now supplied some hand sanitiser. I consider this a very inadequate solution to... More

We thanked our guest via email for informing us of the issue with the toilet that day. This was a very unusual situation, and upon query to the crew we discovered what happened regarding the toilet. It was actually due to loss of power to certain parts of the boat. Unfortunately it affected the toilet facilities. Everything runs through electric... More

I cant express how fantastic this day trip was. The crew were great, the food was fantastic and it was so nice to go on a tour where the boats are not overcrowded the staff are very knowledgeable and happy to tell you all about the marine life not to mention that fact that you get to see wild ORCAS.... The day started well for the first 5 minutes till we hit open water. Then the stomach started to stir. 1.5 hrs of big swell to get to the Canyon where the Orcas can be found. I took a sea sick pill but alas it had no effect. I usually don't get sea sick but I wasn't prepared for the... More

I travelled on the Cetacean Explorer on both the 9th and 10th of February 2015. The latter FOC. Rough weather on the 9th with half of the passengers sick some violently and for the duration of the voyage. Horrified to see a female passenger almost lost overboard as she ran to the stern to vomit on the rough return trip.... More

Thankyou for your feedback. All boat tours have a risk of possible sea sickness, that is the nature of any tour on the water. In our correspondence with passengers we always advise: "If you are prone to motion sickness please seek advice from your pharmacist prior to your tour". We take care of all of our passengers, and their safety... More

Was onboard for the first Bremer bay canyon killer whale expedition tour of season. The seas were rough on the way out to location, 65km to our final destination taking a bit over 2 hours, many suffering seasickness (seasickness pills strongly recommended). Being the first tour no one really knew what to expect, would there be killer whales or not.... More

This is a new venture for this company and at $350 it's a big commitment from the customer. With talk of up to 100 killer whales seen in one outing we were bristling with anticipation. We were sold a day on the water amongst the scientists studying these amazing creatures as well as morning and afternoon tea and a gourmet... More

We saw 40 to 80 Orcas, many up close - like under the boat checking us out - amazing! It's a huge day, my advice: 1) apply sun protection before you get on the boat. 2) don't drink much alcohol the night before. 3) give yourself a rest day before driving long hours home

We had an enjoyable day on the water, but the fish were not as plentiful as we would have liked, perhaps we could have moved around the bay into deeper waters to test those waters. Our kids were very well accommodated, and they both caught fish. There was a lot of space on the boat, not crowded at all. Snacks... More
