A hot and difficult to get to place where you see an wide variety of wildlife, including dolphins that come close into the beach. Feeding the dolphins and taking a flight over the area. Also Hamelin Station. Very hot and the accomodation is pretty basic. It needs a couple of days at least. more
We visited Shark Bay at Easter 2004 and stayed at the Francios Peron Homestead while working for CALM. There is a wide variety of things to see and do on the peninsular and the CALM Rangers are more than happy to talk with visitors about the area and its sights.
