One of the most spectacular scenic places is the west most point of this great country Shark Bay..abundant with fish, turtles and a host of other aquatic species and of course the sharks we had an awesome visit. The small town of Denham is a very friendly neat and tidy town with all the amenities you require. About a good... More

Go to Monkey Mia to take a trip with catamaran to see wild life which there is plenty all over. We saw Dolphins, Dugongs, Turtles etc. Super experience.

Once they realised I travelled up alone from Victoria, they took me under their week and were incredibly accomodating. I've not addopted them as my own kin. I've avoided all the tourist stuff so far and... More

We recently won a prize to visit Shark Bay courtesy of the local visitor centre. Shark Bay is a bit further away from Perth then we would normally visit, but we were glad we made the effort. The weather was great when we were there and the beach and sights were great for our family of 4. Swimming and fishing... More

How beautiful is Shark Bay? Words could not summarise. This is the one place where all my worries disappear, and I truly feel relaxed. I try and come here once a year.

Denham is a small town with a variety of eateries, a couple of shops, petrol stations and campsites. It is a good base from which to explore the area known as Shark Bay.the Peron National park and Monkey Mia are simply not to be missed although some more travelling is involved.Go there and sample the places- you will not be... If you want a good place to rest the weary bones and also have as a base to visit places around, then Shark Bay is the place to stop.25 kilometers from Monkey Mia,also many other places to visit as well so keep your eyes open for those places that are new to others
