We spent an unforgettable evening under the the stars in company of our guide Capes. The whole family loved it (out 3 kids, grandparents from France, us). We had songs, campfire, didgeridoo playing (one of our kid fell in love with this beautiful instrument and starts lessons!) and story's about aboriginal culture, language and the land. Capes knew how to create... More

We took this tour just after the cyclone had passed through, and the National Park where Capes would normally go was closed. We were really excited about this trip because it is so highly reviewed, but Capes must have been having an off day, maybe because we had to change locations from where he usually goes. The snorkeling was okay,... More

We spent a half day with capes during our trip to the fantastic Shark Bay. We kayaked from the lagoon and our 3 teenage children cite it as one of the best days of the holiday. Chasing rays , finding out about the land and having a new understanding of aboriginal culture. The lunch was fantastic and the family photo... More

I did the half-day kayaking tour and then the full day Francois Peron 4WD tour. I enjoyed both immensely - though probably preferred the half day kayak because it was more active - but easy enough for a full range of levels of fitness. The landscape is fantastic and Capes is passionate about it and about providing visitors with a... More

What an incredible experience, the overnight catch & cook safari we undertook with Capes. Swimming, kayaking, snorkeling, fishing, hiking and camping in one. Kayaking along the coast with small sharks, eagle rays, turtles and dolphins all coming within meters of our kayaks. Cooking the caught fish at campfire at night, listening to Capes' intriguing stories about the Aboriginal people, their... More

Review of Didgeridoo Dreaming Night Tour run by Darren 'Capes' Capewell of Wula Guda NyindaEco Adventure Tours. During our stay in Denham in early February, we booked two events with Capes. Firstly we did a 4wd day trip to the Francois Peron National Park, which was a hugely enjoyable day out. We had a swim, snorkel and lunch at Cattle... More

I try to do a local cultural activity in each place I visit, this was the best I have participated in. Very natural, not touristic and from the hurt. Both experience local culture, and get a lot of knowledge and respect to the place.

I hate to say it, but I am not sure what all of the fuss is about regarding this tour! We booked the 4WD day tour into Cape Peron National Park with Capes and it was expensive - $185 per person - so that’s close to £100 each. For that money I really expected a tremendous and memorable tour as... More

But It's have been still Awesome to visit Francois Peron National Park or Wulyibidi (the real name) with Capes. He tall us about many meaning and stories like Aboriginal legend about wild life... We did a 4WD tour with Darren up to Cape Peron. He is a fantastic man with some astounding knowledge. The tour was incredible, with views of sharks, turtles, rays, birds and roos not forgetting the fantastic landscape. Darren even rescued a poor young kangaroo that had got caught in between the sea and the rocks, pulling him out -... More
