It's hard to compare the jewel cave experience after spending the prior day cloning, squeezing and crawling around the ngilgi cave but the Jewel cave has its charms. Firstly it is huge! It has a wealth or history and Karen the tour guide was funny and informative. The show case area is easily accessible and takes you to beautiful areas... More

Wow what a nice surprise. All those years living in Perth I never realized we had such an impressive cave in the south west. We had Karren as guide and you can tell she really loves this place. All those tours she does must get a bit tiring but she took us through the cave with much enthusiasm. Went in... More

This cave is not for the faint of heart. Its massive, its deep, its long and spectacular! located some 5 hours south of Perth and around 45 mins from Margs, arrive early and book your tour. This cave unlike some others requires a tour guide, understandlable when you see the size of it. There is no wheel chair access and... More

Went to Jewel Cave as part of the ultimate ticket package (which gets you Jewel, Lake, Mammoth caves plus the light house). Of the cave tours, I would rate Jewel as my favorite. Of the venues, this one is probably the newest, and so it's also appointed with creature comforts like a nice cafe, bathrooms, and a large seating area... More

We had a most interesting experience walking through a dry cave with Rachael. Rachael was most informative and made every one feel welcome throughout the cave walk. There are 250 steps down into the cave and out again. There is an amazing amount of stallicmites and stalactites in this cave. Worth the visit. There a couple of easy bush walks... More

Our visit was quite pleasant. Dianne was full of information and funny cave jokes. The cave walk was quite easy. Its been well preserved, and hope for many years to come.

This cave decends a fair bit so elderly persons would not suit this and as a result our tour guide persuaded some to return to the top. The caves were amazing and the scenery was fantastic. Alan the tour leader was great and enthusiastic.

Bought package of 3 caves and lighthouse. This is one of the more beautiful one. Unique in its own right. If I have to choose, I will choose lake cave followed by jewel cave.

Wow! What can I say to do justice to this amazing cave? Although not the most spectacular or showy of caves, it is none the less amazing because of its pristine condition. Since it's fairly recent discovery in the late 1950s, all visits have been supervised and the formations thus protected. Herein lies its beauty, for I have never seen... More
