Our tour guide Marg showed us through this huge beautiful cave. She was very knowledgeable. We did the Moondyne Cave Experience as well. We didn't get to the other two caves, which was a pity. Do yourself a favour and get the combined tickets and do as many as you can!

Dear Robin, Many thanks for your review of Jewel and Lake Caves. Our caves are certainly quite magical places and yet all quite different from each other. We are delighted that you enjoyed your visit so much and took advantage of our multi-site cave and lighthouse pass. Thank you. More

Since we visited this over 10 years ago they have done such an excellent job in upgrading this to be an a first-rate tourist attraction. We visited both this and the Lake Cave which are quite contrasting and well worth visiting both. The Jewel Cave is a lot bigger with a relatively easy walk of about 700 metres. Amazing to... More

Dear Robin, Thank you for sharing your experiences in Jewel and Lake Caves. We are delighted that you enjoyed them so much. We agree that whilst visiting the Augusta locality in the Margaret River Region it is certainly worth combining a visit to Jewel Cave and the amazing Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse. More

We did both the jewel cave and lake cave tour. Although the jewel cave has probably more interesting formations, we found the lake cave different enough to other caves to be our preference. Guides in both gaves were very helpful and interesting. (Like most people in WA)

This caves have one of the most beautiful frozen water wall effect. They also house the third longest straw in the world. Don't miss the camel and the jewel while being toured. There is also one part that looks like a status of ladies on the top while crawling through the pathway. Most of the people miss it.

We visited the Jewel Cave in Margaret River as part of a family trip down south. The guided tour with James our tour guide was informative and interesting. Caves were absolutely beautiful- and the underground tour was easy to manage. I don't suffer from claustrophobia, but I imagine that even if you did the vast spaces and size of the... More

Dear MissCMR, It is good to hear that you enjoyed your tour of Jewel Cave so much. People often imagine that caves will be small, tight, narrow places and so are amazed at the size and scale of the magnificent Jewel Cave. As you say, claustrophobia is not likely in such massive caverns. We are proud of the quality of... More

Very professional and informative, from the car park through to the end of the tour Lots of information is provided about the caves history at the entrance and the tour was great Crusty, our tour guide, was very knowledgable and friendly. The formations are spectacular and the boardwalk allows viewing from different angles as you go through the cave

Easy walk but probably the least visually impressive of the caves in the area. Additionally, the tour guide was obnoxious and kept trying to move us along quicker...even to the point of trying to get me to carry our 4-year old daughter who is perfectly capable of walking on her own. Nice that they offer a tour, but less nice... More

This is our first visit to an Australian cave and we sure weren't disappointed! The majestic formations inside the cave were extremely impressive. How it was found was equally interesting.
