A well set out tour through the three large chambers in this cave, the largest display cave in WA. Lots of steps but plenty of opportunities to get your breath back between levels. We were given the opportunity to experience the true darkness of the cave when all lights were turned off for a short period. Our tour guide was... More

We had no plans to go to Jewel Cave but if you visit the Cape Leeuwin lighthouse (and if, like me, you love a bargain) you may be enticed into buying a combined ticket for the lighthouse and for the cave. Jewel Cave was discovered in 1957 or thereabouts and is completely untouched by cavers and explorers so is in... More

This is the largest show cave in WA with three vast caverns. Easy entry, 42 metres underground with lots of platform to stop and admire this ancient beauty. You get to see tremendous stalactites, flowstones, shawls and stalagmites all around and towering from above. There are many delicate straws and we were told the longest one is currently 5.4 metres... More

Absolutely beautiful place! Even the little cafe was lovely. Our tour guide, Chantel was awesome and was more than happy to answer all of the questions I sent her way. She was very enthusiastic about the cave but it wasn't hard to see why. Would definitely recommend this. If you are in the area, it is a must see. Absolutely... More

A must see when in the area. Deb our tour guide took us deep into the cave and the sites were just amazing. She gave us a full run down of the formations etc of the cave and the way the cave is presented with its viewing platforms is just perfect. Do yourself a favour and check it out.

An unusually wet day, so this place is ideal. Pleasant cafe, and pleasant booking. We had a great guide, who was very patient with us and was able to answer questions. A great place to visit with good walkways, good lighting and interesting things to see, including a fossil.

In spite of having to operate from temporary facilities due to a fire last October, the cave delivered what was promised. Crusty our guide was knowledgeable with all the facts yet was fun and all on the tour had a good time

What an amazing spectacle Jewel Cave is! Plenty of stairs but quite an easy climb compared to Lake Cave as most stairs are below ground and it's cooler. It's a pleasant 17C in the cave, and there are many stopping places to catch your breath. The formations are spectacular, lots of different types of stalactites and stalagmites to look at... More

Super informative and passionate staff- thanks Crusty! Loved when they turn the lights out and you're standing in pitch black darkness, creepy as.
