Another beautiful part of the Old Quarter in lovely City of Pontevedra. Every street and corner is delightful.

Well worth a visit. Unfortunately its in a popular square for street entertainers so if you want peace and quiet, go when it opens when they are no 'shows' on.

Very appropriate chapel for all of the Pilgrims walking the Camino. I was welcomed at the entry and sat for a while before continuing on with my journey that day. Very beautiful oval shaped church to be admired inside and out.

In mid August, the city hosts many cultural events, exhibitions, gastronomical festivals and popular traditions such as Peñas. An unparalleled party where people get organised in large groups and play war games throwing wine over... More

In the very centre of the town, near the old village and the commercial streets. This beautiful church is named after the Virgin Mary as keeper of the pilgrims. Seeing It at night is a must. Highlighted in the dark by blue lights is the focal point of the stoned square and It is sorrounded by some of the old... More
