We visited this village as an after-thought following a day out. It proved to be an interesting village full of history. The Seat of the second most powerful Noble family in Spain. There are traces of prehistoric culture, Roman culture, Arab culture and of course Spanish Culture. An interesting village and a short pleasant walk to take it all in.

The people of this town celebrate the torture of animals by running a bull with burning tar on its horns, which falls onto its head and body - they think this is entertaining - do they deserve your tourist money? They will never have mine...

Good museum some fantastic views & steeped in history. As always in Spain remember opening times as many have changed with the recession and may not be as stated in guide books.
