Came to Germany from New Zealand for a 4 week holiday and decided to drive the 200kms to Europa Park - and it was worth it. The rides were amazing, everywhere you look there is another ride. The theming is absolutely incredible. The Silver Star coaster was definitely the best coaster I've ever been on. For me the main pluses... more

This is definitely a family attraction worth visiting. One day is not enough. We stayed overnight. They have a selection of wonderful hotel. Very family friendly. English was not a problem what so ever. Europa park offers attractions, shows, entertainment for all ages. Even though we live in Switzerland, we will probably take advantage of a season pass and each time we... more

In the past 18months I have been to Europa Park, Alton Towers, Disneyland Paris and Portaventura with my husband and 4 children (aged 8-2). Europa Park was my favourite by a long way. We visited over the May Bank Holiday weekend and the park was very quiet. We did not have to queue at all. There were plenty of attractions... more

The Park is confusing to get around,a few decent rides masked buy a lot of clever landscaping and endless eateries. It was full of German teenagers ( as expected!) who were rude , loud and smoked constantly in all queues for food and rides. We travelled by public bus to the Park from Freiburg,it took over an hour . Don't... more

At the risk of being labelled an ugly American by all the Brits favorably reviewing this park, I've come to the conclusion that I very spoiled by living in the US - land of theme parks. Europa Park was a waste of my family's valuable time and tourist euros while in Germany. Not having been to Disneyland Paris I can... more

I went to Europa Park last year (Aug,2007) with my family of 9 members (mix of 20 something,50's and my 17-yr old sister),We stayed at El-Andaluz hotel for 3 nights.I remember we arrived on Saturday and we were very exhausted because we just got there by a train. The room was so awesome,3 packs of jelly was on the bed... more

I took advantage of my children's early break-up for the summer holiday and booked a 2 day trip to Europa Park, Rust, Germany (June 23/24 2008). My daughter (age 6) still says it's the highlight of her summer holiday. We stayed at the Hotel Colosseo. It's a big, well organised hotel and just a short walk to the entrance of... more

Just spent 3 days, and nights at Europa Park. Probably the best theme park I have visited. A proper 'resort', Alton Towers has a long way to go to catch up. Stayed in the Tipidorf village, in a log cabin. Basic accomodation, with just beds and a pillow. Needed your own sleeping bags. But was clean, cheap, and perfect for... more

We were positively surprised by this park. Beforehand I had read reviews which said this was better than Disneyland, and I must say that I agree. The lines were significantly shorter even though we were there later in the season. One thing which sets this park apart from both Disneyland and Efteling is that it is jam packed with rides.... more
