To kill two birds with one stone, book a tour here as you will see the winery plus get a chance to see the underground quarries beneath the winery. It's a great way to explore one of the more fascinating features of Saint-Emilion. We booked a tour in English and we were pleasantly surprised when it became a private tour... More

One of the most interesting vineyard tours I have been. Located in saint-Emilion. Book a tour over telephone. Good English speaking guide, interesting explanation of wine making process, but the highlight of the tour was the visit to the limestone chambers 4 to 5 storeys under the vineyards partially used as cellars. Unfortunately the wines tasted were not great but... More

great tour - we wanted to just go to saint emilion and see which chateaus had english tours that day - and the office of tourism recommended this one. it was 12 euro per person for a 1-hour tour with a great tour guide, an underground tour of the quarries and limestone (which is used to build the buildings/walls all... With only a few hours to spend in Saint Emilion, we were still quite keen to fit in a vineyard tour. The tourist info centre recommended Villemaurine, which was a scenic short walk away. The tour started with a quick overview of the vineyards and a short history. We then proceeded to learn more about the process of making wine,... More

This was set in the beautiful village of Saint Emillion, just about 45 minutes from Bordeaux. The winery is small, but considered one of the very best in the region of which Bordeaux is considered one of the best in France. The tour was certainly worth taking and the cellars were amazing! Learning the process of making wine was very... More

This was a very professionally arranged tour of facilities and a wine tasting conducted by competent staff. We came as a part of a tour group that visited St. Emilion for the day, and this was a major feature. Although we are not wine sophisticates, we appreciated the information they imparted and their clear style of presentation. The tour through... More

This wine tour was very nice, only one other couple joined us so it was nice and intimate. Very interesting facts shared by our tour guide or how the stones from Saint Emilion were used to build the city of Bordeaux. The wine was very good and they have a nice little gift shop with some unique gifts. The city... More

This was the best tour we experienced in Saint-Emilion. The 12 Euro tour and wine tasting was excellent. The only negative is the auditory and light presentation at the end of the tour that is quite lame. The tour includes a visit into the wine cellars and a history of the underground quaries underneath the town of Saint-Emilion. Since the... More

We have been on numerous wine tours and although we had a good guide who was knowledgeable, the tour was a tad arduous. They have a silly audio production in the limestone bowels that we couldn't wait until it was over. The wine was horrible and was so filled with tannins, we puckered and couldn't finish it. I would never... More
