This was set in the beautiful village of Saint Emillion, just about 45 minutes from Bordeaux. The winery is small, but considered one of the very best in the region of which Bordeaux is considered one of the best in France. The tour was certainly worth taking and the cellars were amazing! Learning the process of making wine was very... More

This was a very professionally arranged tour of facilities and a wine tasting conducted by competent staff. We came as a part of a tour group that visited St. Emilion for the day, and this was a major feature. Although we are not wine sophisticates, we appreciated the information they imparted and their clear style of presentation. The tour through... More

This wine tour was very nice, only one other couple joined us so it was nice and intimate. Very interesting facts shared by our tour guide or how the stones from Saint Emilion were used to build the city of Bordeaux. The wine was very good and they have a nice little gift shop with some unique gifts. The city... More

This was the best tour we experienced in Saint-Emilion. The 12 Euro tour and wine tasting was excellent. The only negative is the auditory and light presentation at the end of the tour that is quite lame. The tour includes a visit into the wine cellars and a history of the underground quaries underneath the town of Saint-Emilion. Since the... More

We have been on numerous wine tours and although we had a good guide who was knowledgeable, the tour was a tad arduous. They have a silly audio production in the limestone bowels that we couldn't wait until it was over. The wine was horrible and was so filled with tannins, we puckered and couldn't finish it. I would never... More

We experienced 6 wine tastings at 6 different vineyards on this 7 night Uniworld river cruise. This one was my favorite. They used a 60euro whole sale bottle of wine for the tasting and for the first time I could taste the difference between a good wine and a fine wine. underground cellar/caverns were fascinating ( they provide flashlights) and... This stop was part of our Trafalgar 2013 summer Best of France Tour. It was nice to be at a vinyard and to take photos around the fields and inside the tunnel tour. Bring a sweater as it is cool down below. Enjoy the stories and just walking below the earth in the tunnels was just as fun as tasting... More

We visited the Chateau a few weeks back. The tour here is amazing...beautiful caves and a pretty good tour overall. We didn't care for the wine here but its a must visit in Saint-Emillion.

Found and booked this online and it would have been better if we didn't then have to collect the tickets from the St Emilion tourist office. There are separate tours in both French and English, this review covers the English tour. The tour provided us with an excellent view of how their wine was grown and produced together with a... We visited this winery and did the tasting and tour. It was impressive. The underground labyrinth of tunnels and quarries under the vineyard was fascinating. The history given by the chateau was extremely well done and informative. The whole St Emilion history is remarkable and the light and sound show below ground was a ten out of ten. Our guide...
