Excellent selection of wines. I shipped a good bit home. Upon returning I learned that almost all of the wine was available in the U.S. for less than I paid including shipping. I wrote them a detailed email and never received a response.

We visited in the middle of May. Service and wine selection were excellent! Max and Bruno especially helpful! Max spent some time in Las Vegas so his English is perfect. We bought 2 cases of Bordeaux not readily available in the US. Can't wait for our next visit! Bsenekham Charlotte, NC

Stop by Vignobles & Chateaux - they are the best! They specialize in Bordeaux wines, but they have a great deal of knowledge on Burgundy if you're traveling north to taste wines from another incredible region! Patrick provided some great Burgundy contacts from his years in wine school, Nicolas and Bruno have helped us select some incredible first and second... More

So Expensive… I visited that store with my daughter and my wife in June this summer. We received our wines but we also compared the prices…. Everything is so expensive in that store. Service was fair but the prices are ridiculously high … a shame…

Dear Harry, I thank you for your comments and am surprised by it. As you probably know, we are established since 1989 in Saint-Emilion and worked a lot with regular customers who bought wines from us regularly. I really think if we were so expensive like you say, people will not buy wine from us two time, three times or... More

I recently visited Saint Emilion and puchased a large amount of wine from this merchant. I would strongly advise visitors not to purchase any wine from them. On the surface they appear very reputable and accomodating. I negotiated a price reduction from their rates based on the large purchase which they assured me was a very good price. I subsequently... Dear Mike, Following the comment you recently posted, we would like to clarify a few points : We are sorry if you have found better prices in New York on a few wines you have chosen and purchased from us. This is how the wine market works and I believe you understand that we cannot always be competitive on every... More

We had the best wine class of our lives here. The host, Max, was incredibly knowledgable, not just about Bordeaux wines but about French and new world wines too. We learned more in this private class than in all of our other visits combined. We loved the wines too and managed to pick up some great bottles for reasonable prices.... More

Jean-Louis Abollivier was fantastic. Extremely knowledgable about Bordeaux wine overall, but particularly right bank St-Emilion and Pomorol. Spent a whole day touring / tasting / learning. Would highly recommend. Jean-Louis was charming, warm and entertaining.

Beautiful shop! Jean-Louis was so pleasant, knowledgable, and helpful. We visited many wine shops in St. Emillion and this was our favorite by far! And even though they have the best of the best, Jean-Louis was mindful of that. Can't wait to go back!
