Away from the beach bars and noise of 2nd beach, this is a place to listen to the ocean and relax in the shade. The water is warm. Paradise.

In my opinion the best beach in Morro de São Paulo. Not full like the 2nd beach, not empty like the 4th and 5th and the nicest view. Perfect for snorkeling and swimming.

Beach 3 is a short stretch of sand in an "unswimmable" rocky area in what I would call the in-between beach between the mayhem of Beach 2 and the tranquility of Beach 4. Nice to walk along, but I would recommend Beach 2 or Beach 4 (or Gamboa) depending on what type of atmosphere you like.

Terceire Praia is the working beach of Morro, i.e. where the fishermen are based. The beach is smallish and a bit dirty at low tide and there is no beach at all at high tide, but the beach promenade is full of nice restaurants and pousadas.

Not much of a beach as the beach disappears entirely during high tide. Same is true for most beaches on island except 2nd beach. But good place to learn paddle surf or kayak etc. a lot of boat tours begin from 3rd beach as well. You could walk to reefs and rocks during low tide. Overall good place to be... More

The Terceira Praia Beach on Morro de Sao Paulo is a lovely quiet beach. Much more peaceful and pleasant than the second beach, it has thick sandy beaches and calm, clear warm waters. The sea is calm and swimming is splendid. Recommended!

If you like quiet place with calm Sea you should visit this place. It is a typical place to rest and be in peace with so wonderful nature. We can see fishes around us in a so clean water. There are good places to stay there. I loved it as I loved all places in Morro de São Paulo where... More

That's the place, they have just a couple of restaurants, cozy and much cheaper than the ones at segunda Praia. Also it's better to do water sports such as SUP, kayak etc.

The second beach has inns and restaurants, and is a meeting point to several activities. It is not as charming as the second beach, but is a great option if you're looking to save some money and be between the fourth beach and the Vila.
