Boca Catalina is one of the best snorkeling locations on the island. sites vary by time of day. Have seen sea turtle, starfish, squid barracuda, grouper and an array of other indigenous fish. Excursion destination from the high-rise resorts....but more fun to get there on your own....very easy if you rent a vehicle during your stay. Hang with the locals... More

Beautiful beach. Great snorkeling. But be sure you bring food and water. There are no facilities. Love it!

Best place for snorkeling by far on the island. We went here on a snorkel cruise (it was the 2nd of 3 stops). My 13 yr old son and husband said that they wanted to come back so we rented a car for 2 days and drove around the island testing the beaches and snorkeling areas. This was by far... More

This is a great beach to snorkel off of. All of the snorkel boats anchor here and you can take the bus here or drive. There are huts to get out of the sun.

We loved this beach, it gives you a break from the wind you can find in other beaches and the water is shallow and clear so you get to snorkel a lot! There are umbrellas and we could always find a spare one, but maybe because it was low season..

Beautiful place away from the busy area Palm Beach accessible with your rental car or even with the Local bus Line #10 (It must say Arashi beach on top of the bus) $2.30 per person one way and there is always a bus back every 20-30 minutes! don't forget your snorkeling equipments! Enjoy Aruba!

This beach is excellent for snorkeling. My son, husband, and father loved it. They range in age from 9-75. Small beach with no bathroom. Beautiful views. Highly recommend this spot and it is not very busy and beautiful.

My husband and I snorkeled at Boca Catalina on our recent honeymoon. We had taken the Jolly Pirates Cruise two days earlier and we wanted to snorkel some more. I had read that this was a great place to snorkle right from the shore and the reviews were right. We got in the water and right away we were swimming... More

This is my favorite snorkeling spot on Aruba. The snorkeling tours often stop there to let the tourists snorkel. We went right off the beach and made it as far out as they were. There are a lot of rocks right off the beach, but the trade off is that there's schools of hundreds of fish right there. Going out... More

Hitched a ride from the port on the local city bus (Arubus) - $4 per person round trip. Dropped us all off at end of one line by Malmok, and we walked a few mins to Boca Catalina beach. Tiny area with a few permanent straw parasols. Clean and clear water with some nice snorkelling. No apparent amenities at all... More
