Great snorkeling

We stopped here on a catamaran trip, there were many fish to see, especially when I headed in more towards the rocks.

Took the bus and got dropped off and picked up right at the beach. Rented 2 chairs for $10. There area few permanent shade structures if you get there early enough. Entrance to the ocean is sloped and not rocky. There are a lot of fish and starfish close to shore. We swam further out and saw a turtle. Make... More

Another nice beach on the island with good snorkeling. Do go there if you are on the northern part of the island,

We spent a few hours snorkeling here and it was a lot of fun. It's not a white sandy beach like Eagle or Palm Beach. Its very rocky, but also with little surf. There’s a bunch to see. It’s all pretty shallow, and a lot of snorkeling tours stop right here. We brought our own snorkeling gear, we didn't see... More

One of my favorite places to swim and snorkel! It's absolutely amazing and the water is very nice. I definitely recommend it.

The party-like action on the boat was fun! The snorkeling left something to be desired. The coral reef was close to shore, in shallow water, and was not the colorful reef you see on TV & magazines. It was dirty, in poor condition, and not really worth seeing, in my opinion.

We took a cab from the cruise ship pier ($30 on Christmas Eve) to this quiet beach. There are no chairs or umbrellas for rent, but we took our own large beach towel to sit on and a beach umbrella. We were grateful for the umbrella; the sun was very strong. It was a bit rocky getting in and out... More

We spent a morning at Boca Catalina that was a lot a fun! We had a taxi drop us off and you can rent chairs for $5 a piece. We saw a lot different fish and star fish, and you can walk along the beach to snorkel all along the shore. Definitely worth the trip!

This is only a couple of hundred meters South of Arashi Beach, which is probably the nicer beach to sit on, but this has the best snorkelling. Starting South of the big white house, and swim out as far as the Party Cats, and then North as far as you like. The outside of Mangle Alto reef is the best... More

We were recommended to try snorkeling on our own before taking a tour (Jolly Pirates) and this location was recommended. We had a good time. We took Arubus; just tell the driver where you want to go. We should have ventured further from shore where the tour boats were all stopped but we saw some coral, fish, ... and had... More
