I have been to Pocono and Dover recently with my 10 yr old son, this time I also brought my wife and 3 yr old son. We went to the Nationwide and Sprint Cup races. It was described as the nicest weekend in decades there by some drivers. We were in the McDonald's Family Section all weekend and there were... More

This is a wonderful track and the staff are phenomenal. VERY Veteran friendly. Take a few laps around this historic track for a small fee. This was part of my nephew's bachelor party and the 'boys' from 15-77 loved the heck out of it - still talk about it. Great times.

The "Octoberfest" at the Glen was great-- laid back and some interesting vendors to add to the day. Fritz Polka band entertained and the different brews for the tasting was cool. The pace car ride around the long track made the day-- so much fun!

A challenging and rewarding course. It is set among working farms on a glorious ridge top location, high above Seneca Lake.

My husband and I went to the Gorge, not the Raceway. It only cost $8 for a car to get in. During the summer there is a shuttle that will take you to the top of the Gorge. There are over 800 steps to the top of the Gorge. The waterfalls and pools are simply spectacular. A great place to... More

What more needs to be said! The races, the drivers, the excitement in the stands. Even if you are not into NASCAR you will be by the time you leave. I just wish that there website for ordering tickets was a little more user friendly. Hard to navigate.

Let me start by saying despite my Charlotte NC profile location I'm more of a stick and ball sports fan. Racing is growing on me but the experience at Watkins Glen was a great way to watch a race without the hastles I generally associate with getting to and from a race. Introduced a bunch of first time race fans... More

The $25 three lap tour is offered at 1200 and 1700. I see it is only offered twice a week from someone, we were there on Friday, so not sure when the other day is. Our husbands are still geeked over doing this!

I have attended Watkins Glen since the early 70s, and the track was had a number of issues over the years. When NASCAR purchased the track several years ago, they came in and fixed the track, put in running water in the bath rooms, upgraded the grounds and buildings, built new buildings and grandstands, and landscaped. Food service was significantly... More

It was alot of fun to take our pickup truck (with 2 kayaks on roof) on to the racetrack... Don't get too many opportunities to do this .. so we did it .. It was well worth the $25 fee.. We purchased our ticket at a place in Watkins Glen called 'The Shop' .. 3 laps around the track went... More
