The day my husband and I hoped to ride this boat turned out to be rainy. Luckily the owner took my name and number and called when the weather cleared--on our last day in Watkins Glen! The captain and crew were entertaining and knowledgeable about the schooner and the area. This was a fun excursion I would heartily recommend.

11 of us from just about every corner of the planet booked a cruise on True Love. Some of us had never been on a boat. The crew and captain were awesome, sociable and knowledgeable. We just reunited to sit down and watch High Society, which none of us had seen before, and celebrate the trip and the cruise which... More

One Saturday in July (2014) my siblings and their kids (minus one) decided to get together and go sailing and we chose the Schooner "True Love." We grew up in Watkins Glen and 3 out of 4 of us live here, so I try and limit my reviews in this area, but this is really worth experiencing. Sailing is such... More

We were under sail shortly after a motorized exit from the dock and it just got better and better. It was a perfect weather day, and there's no way to plan for that. We were told that the wind was not quite right on the two days previous, so those folks did not get the full sailing experience we enjoyed.... More

We wanted to do something other than just Wine Tastings and sailing on the True Love was perfect. The day was overcast and not very breezy and we thought we would have to motor for the entire cruise, but alas, the sun came out that the breeze picked up and we were able to actually sail. The captain and crew... More

This year, for her birthday, I wanted to give my wife a lasting memory. Although I had already bought her a couple of gifts, they were just things she would use and forget. I wanted to give her something she would always remember. A friend told us about the "True Love." We went on the sunset cruise on a Saturday... More

My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids ages 10 and 12) spent a very relaxing couple of hours on the True Love. There was almost no wind so we did little sailing, but the company was excellent and surprisingly comfortable. My kids had been scared to sail so although the lake was a bit tamer than I would have... More

We came for the first time, camping at the KOA Watkins Glenn. Saw the "True Love" advertisement in their brochure. Took the Friday afternoon 2:30 -4:30 PM sailing. Very windy day, with white caps. Crew was unbelievably skilled and, at the same time so attentive. Trip was the highlight of a trip that was terrific at every turn. DO NOT... More

We just loved the 2 hours we spent on True Love! The staff is wonderful and the time on Seneca Lake was beautiful. We highly recommend taking a ride on this beautiful schooner!
